As a former police officer, watching the brutality, the blatant disregard for basic human rights, the aggressive enforcement actions against "soft targets" sickens me.

There are many fine and devoted police officers across this nation in distress who I know share my disgust of this abhorrent conduct.

If you are such an officer, I need you to take action my Blue Family, there are many ways to do so:

- Act in accordance with Law, such as the Biosecurity Act 2015 when dealing with health issues. There are safeguards for human rights built-in to the legislation that are ignored in state mandates.

- Act in accordance with your Statement of Values, which in NSW are very clearly being breached when there is unnecessary force used.

- Act in accordance with your conscience, DO WHAT IS RIGHT. The use of force must ALWAYS be appropriate and a last resort.

- Hold a space for your fellow Australians to assemble and protest in peace as required under the Articles of the UDHRs.
