In the Kostyantynivka direction, things are steadily worsening.

Over the past days, Russian forces made a number of deep advances and infiltrations.
East of the city, attacks were carried out through the forest and dachas, and it is possible that some isolated infantrymen penetrated deeper into the Hora district. Russian assault groups were found near Novodmytrivka in the past, too.

Southeast of the city, the situation is mostly stable. Russian attacks are effectively repelled by the responsible units. Further penetrations into the "Megatex" factory in the center of the city were not recorded.

Southwest of the city, Russian infantry is flooding the Berestok area using all available routes, accumulating large numbers of infantry and attempting to push further. In particular, a small Russian assault group penetrated for the first time in the Pivdennyi district of the city, officially starting the battle for its massive southwestern high-rise area, almost 5x bigger than Toretsk's.
Russian infantry presence is also recorded in eastern Illinivka, as well as attempts to reach it from the south.

In conclusion, we see that the Russians have chosen their tactic to capture Kostyantynivka: a slow, triple-sided strangling of the city, prioritizing the southwestern and eastern pincers, through massive drone pressure on Ukrainian logistics, with which they aim to minimize Ukraine's drone surveillance in the city, eventually leading to the enabling of deeper and more frequent infiltrations into it.
Russian activations near Stepanivka are also seen, aiming to capture Dovha Balka to then move further to exert catastrophic pressure on Ukrainian logistics into Kostyantynivka, while they're waiting for the appropriate weather conditions to advance from the Virolyubivka pincer, characterized mostly by open and hard-to-cross fields.
