Pokrovsk - Dobropillia general update (26/12 - 01/01)

Pokrovsk industrial area. Russian soldiers move in waves of groups of 1-3 soldiers along the highway.
In the orange square, very frequent and large traffic of infantry is recorded.
From there, they cross the railway into the industrial zone along the indicated routes. Russian forces seem to still be unable to consolidate their positions there. [photo #1]

Just east of this area, Russian forces tend to move as shown in the picture, mostly following the urbanized area but also attempting infiltrations in the treelines just north of Pokrovsk. [photo #2]

In Dinas district, as DeepState showed in their December 31st update, Russian forces consolidated in the residential area west of the citadel, where they likely accumulate, and established positions up to the northernmost buildings. [photo #3]

In total, in the past 7 days in the Pokrovsk sector, there have been 0 recorded Russian infiltrations past the red line, which, again, is the result of a partial stabilization of the freezing and snowy climate in the area.
Logistics, on the other hand, remain extremely difficult for Ukrainian forces in the area. [photo #4]

Myrnohrad. Russian forces consolidate their positions and accumulate in the orange square, as shown by DeepState's December 29th update, in large groups, up to 7 people, which then move along the indicated route to the Rodynske-Pokrovsk road [photo #5]

Rodynske. Russian forces accumulate in small groups in the Krasnolymanskaya Mine east of the town and move along the indicated route to Rodynske itself.
In Krasnyi Lyman, Russian forces are moving in waves of small groups, accumulating in the orange area along the houses of the settlement, and ending up in Rodynske's southern outskirts.
It is possible to notice two distinct streams of Russian reinforcements into the city, rather than a chaotic and general infiltration. If these routes were to be closed by Ukrainian drone operators, Russian infiltrators would most likely have to switch to attacking through fields, which would severely complicate their logistics in Rodynske and alleviate some pressure to Ukrainian defenders in the town. Shakhove direction.
Unfortunately, the situation here is worse.
Russian forces move along the indicated route from Nykanorivka to Dorozhnie, also being able to sometimes penetrate south along the railway. Movement is very frequent, and unfortunately there are signs of Russian consolidation in Dorozhnie.
Just north, Russian forces move along the (unsure) indicated routes to Ivanivka and Nove Shakhove.
Here, too, there are significant numbers of Russians present in both settlements and signs of consolidation, even though they're being destroyed in large numbers. [photo #7]

East of this area, Russian forces move along the indicated routes, mostly exploiting terrain such as small ravines to move, even reaching the outskirts of Vilne sometimes, and continuing further in the northern direction. [photo #8]

In conclusion, the situation in terms of Russian infiltrations and consolidation in the Dobropillia direction is worse than in the Pokrovsk - Myrnohrad area, with Russian infiltrations reaching generally deeper points, too.
We continue to see how important the Dobropillia - Rodynske area is for the Russians, that they've been attacking non-stop with both armor and large numbers of infiltrations even in terrible meteorologic conditions.
I will continue monitoring this area thoroughly and will report about any more dramatic changes if they are present.

Головком ЗСУ розповів, що було проведено великий обсяг робіт із підготовки населених пунктів до оборони. Водночас, за його словами, ці заходи мають і надалі здійснюватися системно й послідовно.
