Ukrainian trench systems north of Vyshneve, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast' (
In picture #1, you can see what the big trench systems you see on most maps defending this sector look like. Mossy, unused and uncovered trenches in the middle of a field, that no Ukrainians will ever step foot into.
In the right hand side of picture #1, you can see how the Ukrainians reinforced this system with another trench system, built in February 2025. This system features features compatible with modern drone warfare, such as a concrete dugout, a completely covered trench system, and covered firing positions (evidenced in picture #2).
Next to it, it's possible to see a smaller trench system that was still built in June 2022, but is located right next to a treeline, the greenery of which acts as a light camouflage, and renders it at least partly usable.
Unfortunately, as said multiples times, because of the almost complete lack of Ukrainian manpower in this sector, these systems fall without resistance to Russian forces, which gladly use them as their own accumualtion points for further assault operations.

Uspenivka sector, Pokrovske front, according to information from the field. Short update.
In the last few days, the situation, finally, significantly improved for Ukrainian forces after the transfer of the reinforcements I talked about here (https://t.me/PlayfraOSINT/2405).
After a period of generally large successes in this sector, in the last days Russian forces have been suffering a lot in wounded and dead servicemen, and, while further north near Vyshneve fast advancements are still recorded, they factually didn't advance by a meter near Uspenivka in recent days (the orange polygon you see is a correction, and DeepState updates are being published with a delay and generally diminish Russian gains here).
Until now, the Russians advanced well to Uspenivka, effectively exploiting the very well-built Ukrainian trenches (that were simply abandoned by Ukraine) to accumulate their own manpower and transfer it without Ukrainian FPV threat. Once they reached the Yanchur river, it was imperative for them to force it immediately to exploit an almost complete lack of any Ukrainian organized defense effort, but to do this it was essential to secure the farm at
Unfortunately for Russian forces, consolidation wasn't achieved in either of those 2 objectives.
Why was this place so important? There aren't any other suitable places to cross the Yanchur river from, because it's necessary to have a safe accumulation place as close as possible to the river to minimize exposure time to (now reorganized) Ukrainian FPVs while crossing, and these 2 areas were the best ones by far. In other words, they were perfect to enable Russian infantry to cover a lot less distance to get to cover on the other side of the river.
In particular, when Russian assault groups tried to capture the 2 objectives, the Ukrainians focused especially on drones to repel the assault.
As a result of the Russian inability to exploit the window of opportunity caused by Ukraine's lack of organization and manpower, the Ukrainians were able to bring in reinforcements and to use hexacopters (heavy drones) like Vampire drones to completely destroy all possible accumulation places near the Yanchur river.
This will now force the Russians to cover a much bigger open area if they want to cross the river, and the attack will be more likely to be repelled by Ukrainian drones.
As it was described to me: "Everything there is simply wiped to dust, scorched and destroyed by hexacopters";
"They aren't fortifying much behind, but they are just creating a wasteland there in front of the river."
At the moment, the Russians are not confident in another attempt to cross the river, and think it's probably impossible. Especially, the logistics that were supported by the covered trenches were now made harder, as Ukrainian drone reinforcements are bombing them heavily, even deep into Russian-controlled territory.
It is a task in of itself to reach the treelines just before the MTF (farms) and the Novomykolaivka hamlet.
Some interesting things also happen in the Ukrainian ranks, though.
Recently the Russians destroyed a Ukrainian 120-mm mortar and its crew, that was composed entirely of black, probably african, mercenaries.
In general, this area is held by Ukraine thanks to a large number of foreign troops relative to Ukrainian soldiers, which I suspect is directly correlated to the critical lack of manpower that this direction suffers.
According to the same Russians, the Ukrainians played tactically quite well and unexpectedly for them, but the problem further north near Vyshneve remains, which is probably the cost at which the stabilization near Uspenivka came for Ukraine.
Recently, the Russians only transferred 1 new brigade in this direction.
