Following community feedback (specially from the one's who actually bothered to give ideas instead of complainin nonstop) we’ve decided to adjust how we handle some of our punishments. We want to avoid punishing an entire faction for the actions of one individual, especially when many members have invested a lot of time into building it.

# 1. Doxxing Cases
## If a faction owner is found guilty of doxxing, they will have 24 hours to transfer ownership to another member, with the owner will then be permanently banned from the faction. If the ownership transfer is not completed within the given time, the faction will be banned and wiped.

# 2. Proxy Usage
- If a faction is caught doing a massive proxy usage, the faction may be partially wiped depending on how many pixels were placed using proxies.
- Anyone caught using proxies will be banned individually, and appeals will still be 1 month for those involved.

Our goal with these changes is to enforce punishments by targeting the responsible players while giving less (mostly seen as unfair) punishements to the rest of the faction's players
We may make more changes to this so make sure to check this announcement each once in a while

* Любой игрок, пойманный на использовании прокси, будет забанен индивидуально, а апелляции для них по-прежнему будут рассматриваться 1 месяц.

Наша цель — наказывать именно виновных, уменьшая (часто считающиеся несправедливыми) наказания для остальных участников фракции.
Мы можем вносить и другие изменения, так что периодически проверяйте этот анонс.

## Why did we change it so we monitor less?
Many people were complaining about the moderation on pixmap community servers being too strict, saying that even calling someone once a sl*t or the n word could get them banned, and we believe these bans would be unfair and way too harsh for our players

## Why do we still moderate the things mentioned above?
The things listed above are dealbreakers in pixmap's community, meaning they should not be allowed no matter what. All of these (except some of the users/symbols we have banned on pixmap) are also agaisnt Discord's ToS, and we want to make sure they're being enforced on our communities in order to keep them healthy

We will make a list soon with all the permabanned users who cannot be on pixmap community servers, sadly I dont have the time to do it atm
Also there will be new updates soon (possibly within a week), cant tell you what tho 🤫 (and an activity check later this week so get prepared to react)

Opinion: It’s surprising that NEWSpixels only posts negative news about Pixmap, although honestly it’s not that surprising anymore. I haven’t seen a single post about unbans or the fundamental changes we’ve made in favor of giving the community more freedom. It’s a shame that such a large and undoubtedly the best news source isn’t neutral, but I hope the situation can change for the better

i mean they posted complaints about pixmap, half of which were fake and made by a cp user, and they didnt post my answer about them so...

they actually banned me from their chat so i couldnt record their doxxing for a lawsuit even tho i have more poepl erecording for me (about 20 people)

In case you didn't know we updated the doxxing rules twice, and now you can appeal doxxes affter 1 month if the other person forgives you. You can only appaeal a doxx once.
If a faction is banned due to doxxers, there should be 1 person who opens 1 ticket for the whole faction to appeal the ban, and if he wants to appeal their players it should also be done on the same ticket. We will need to know both their discord and telegram accounts (usernames) and their ingame accounts, as well as proof that whoever they doxxed forgave them.
To open a appeal, go to discord.gg/pixmap , get the member role in #verification and go to #unban-requests to make the appeal
(remember to click the "link discord" button on your profile in order to have the regular cooldown on pixmap after getting member role, unless you want to purposely play with ppf cooldown by only linking your gmail)

# Happy new years from the pixmap team!
We've come a long way since the last time we've celebrated the new years. Many changes happened during 2025: new updates, features and maps, many changes to our staff and developement team, and even a full owner change and general rules overhaul. We've had the most players ever this year by far and some of the best updates any pixelgame has had in history (such as discord verification and mod tools so accurate they can ban botnets before they ever get used). Many new communities and countries were built and many old communities have also come back here. At the end of the day, we're all toghether in here, playing the game we like the most (or at least the pixelgame we like the most), creating a strong community with great countries and great arts, while making friends. Many of the things we've acomplished wouldnt be possible without the support from our playerbase and our staff, and I would like to give a honorific mention to our ex-developer dem, who has done many things to make the game more enjoyable and secure for the players.
2026 will be a big year: a new era of pixelgames is coming and pixmap will be having more movement than ever before. I cannot specify what yet but there are big plans for this new year, and we will make sure to keep our title of the most fun pixelgame for another full year.

Quick Q&A for New Years:
1. Is there any more rule changes planned? Possibly yes, there are 2 things I want to change about the way we apply some of the rules, but those changes are mostly for consistency, so don't expect any big changes in the near future.

2. Will there be new updates/features/events in 2026? Yes, I have 2 very big updates planned, one of which is bigger than the faction update. I can't show the whole thing yet but it will include many new cosmetics (some of which will be exclusive to some part of the update) and an entire rework on the way you "earn rewards" by playing on different maps and obtaining a certain pixelcount on each of them. I also want to improve some ingame faction features such as ingame rankings, faction profiles, ranks, and maybe even a ingame faction chat. There will also be more events during this year prepare your ears for February
, many of which will be season related (summer events on July, Easter event on Easter week, etc), and there will be more prizes as well (wont spoil what prizes tho)

3. (I cannot stress enough how many people have asked for this one) Will Rusfed, Ruszone, Ukrglobal and Ukrcanv be unbanned any time soon? Depends on how their leaders act. Ruszone and Rusfed have both appealed their bans but they failed to prove that they're telling the truth about their unban reasons, which is really confusing because shaaark has the kind of proof that can get Rusfed unbanned in 10 minutes since 4 months ago yet he never sent it to anyone (not even me), and no one knows why. Ukrglobal is completely unactive, and Ukrcanv actually wanted to appeal but decided to stop trying after we asked them to ban the doxxers from their chat. There is definetively a chanze for Rusfed and Ukrglobal to be unbanned if enough effort (or any effort at all) is given by their leaders, but since both countries are currently inactive on pixels only time will tell what happens next.

4. Will pixmap have active wars again like it did in March-September? That's out of my control. Nations like Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia and (in a lesser extent) Austria and Hungary aren't active due to their own lack of motivation, with only Macedonia and Hungary actually doing anything on other games at all. Neither me nor anyone else can or should force them to play if they feel tired or demotivated. After all, pixmap.fun is suposed to be fun for the players, so if they aren't having fun playing why would we force them to play? The reason people come to play our game is either because they've realized the other games kinda suck, or because they don't have fun in them,while they do have fun in Pixmap. Many wars have also become less noticable because somehow people still fail to link 2 accounts to their discord. Again, there is nothing we can do about it until they learn they can do that on their own.

5. Ни я, ни кто-либо ещё не может и не должен заставлять их играть, если они устали или демотивированы.
В конце концов, pixmap.fun должен быть весёлым для игроков, так что если им не нравится играть, зачем мы должны их заставлять? Люди приходят в нашу игру либо потому, что поняли, что другие игры так себе, либо потому, что им там не весело, а в Pixmap – весело.

!Для привязки дискорд аккаунта нужно находится на сервере pixmap и получить роль member (верификация)!
Что нужно сделать, чтобы привязать свой дс аккаунт к игровому? Все достаточно легко, просто соблюдай данный алгоритм действий:
0) Включи VPN для работы дискорда. Подойдет любой
1) Зайди во вкладку своего профиля
2) Найди кнопку «Link Discord Account» и нажми на неё
3) Тебя перекинет на страницу, где нужно подтвердить привязку (обычно страница с ботом пма), просто соглашаешься со всем и все готово!
3.1) Если тебя не перекинуло на страницу с привязкой (какая-либо ошибка), значит этому есть ровно три причины: Твоему дискорд аккаунту меньше чем 3 месяца | Рейт лимит со стороны дискорда (попробуй позже) | Твоего аккаунта нету на дискорд сервере pixmap/нет роли member на нем
Если привязка успешна – появится зелёная надпись «Discord Account Linked»
В случае если аккаунту нет 3 месяца, но игровой аккаунт уже давний, можно сделать тикет с просьбой на привязку.
К одному дс аккаунту можно привязать 2 игровых.
