Hey all, I've lost Internet at my house since the wee hours yesterday. It was supposed to be restored by yesterday afternoon, but now the estimate is sometime this evening.

The whole region is out, and we only have mobile data in a tiny corner of my house. I accidentally got logged out of my art program and can't save until I log in to verify my license...which requires the internet.

Power is in and out. So expect a hiatus until that all gets resolved, including commissioner dms. Thanks for understanding!

Lol I don't have any of my traditional art supplies here, so I have a dull #2 and a blue colored pencil. Hopefully the person still likes the attack lol!!!

Trying a shading method I learned from Bwuu! We will see how it works out with colors below. Might use a different gradient once I see it better :)

I'm at my house (rather than my dad's, where we have moved to care for him) for the next 12 hours. So, power and internet!

I will attempt to send out all invoices in this time. If you're waiting on an invoice from me and can send me a ping, that would be amazing! Brain is a bit fried.

Lol Comcast has stopped saying Internet should be restored by "time" and now just says once we can we will. It's been 3 days!!! Which like... At least we have a generator for power lapses; my brother is entirely without power. But I wish they would have been upfront earlier rather than giving bogus time estimates.

Edit: locals have updated a major pole/Tower burned down. Unclear at this juncture if it was from lightning or vandalism. I have heard both. There was a similar vandalism case this time last year.

Summer Splash!!

I tried something new for the background here to try to speed up my work flow. I used a brush to make the grass, 3d clip asset models with a ton of filters and post processing for the fence, and a clip asset for the ground heavily skewed. I then added lineart over it all.

I don't really like it, compared to how I normally draw backgrounds. It takes less time but feel less me? May I need to make my own brushes. I'm going to redo the July advert with this image since I haven't had any bites on that though.
