After 2yrs of Pixel Buds Pro release, Google will finally launch its upgrade aka the Pixel Buds Pro 2. It will be available in 4 colors — Charcoal, Porcelain white, Aloe an hot pink.
Design-wise, Pixel Buds Pro 2 have a more prominent grill on each earbud compared to original Pixel Buds Pro, which is likely going to be used for ANC and Transparency modes. The charging case will be a bit bulky as well, likely due to bigger battery of the charging case

Google has announced 6 new features for Maps in India, including support for incident reports on Android Auto.
1) Narrow Roads Assistance
By using an AI model that considers satellite images, Street View data etc, Google estimates road widths & adjusts routing algorithms to avoid narrow roads.
2) Flyover Navigation:
Google Maps now highlights taking flyovers.
3) EV Charging Stations
Google has partnered with ElectricPe, Ather, Kazam, and Statiq to provide detailed information including real-time availability, plug types etc for 8,000 EV charging stations
4) Metro Ticket Booking
In collaboration with ONDC and Namma Yatri, Google Maps now supports metro ticket booking in Kochi and Chennai.
5) Simplified Incident Reporting
Users can now report construction, traffic mishaps & other incidents easily on Android Auto.

For years, Google Pixels have only been sold online that too only through Flipkart e-commerce and not even on Amazon officially in India
But now, Google Pixels 9 series will be available to try in retail outlets too like Croma or Reliance Digital and it will not be Flipkart-exclusive anymore. Thus, customers in India can first try/experience Google Pixels in stores and then decide whether to buy them or not.

Google begins shipping locally made Pixel 8 in India ahead of Pixel 9 launch
Google has announced the rollout of Made in India Pixel 8 devices, nearly 10 months after revealing its domestic manufacturing plans for the devices, and immediately ahead of the expected Pixel 9 unveiling tomorrow only. It’s the first time that Google will be making Pixels directly in India.
Speaking to TechCrunch, Google confirmed that only the base Pixel 8 is being produced in India for now, with the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8a being produced elsewhere. The outlet also cites sources that Google’s partners — Compal is working with Dixon Technologies to manufacture Pixel devices in India.
