A dedicated test with the Pixel 6 Pro 4x telephoto lens
*Image in order of the writing

Reviewer at 9To5Google did a dedicated test of the 4x optical telephoto lens on the Pixel 6 Pro, and here is their review.

We will skip to 4x zoom test which the telephoto lens kicked in. Yes, the image quality is much better from the Pixel 5, and a little better from the Pixel 4 XL which also has a telephoto lens. At 20x, that the maximum zoom level which the Pixel 6 Pro can achieve. Comparing it to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the image looks softer, but anyway Pixel did a better job processing it with more accurate sky and brighter shadows on the building.

Lastly, Pixel 6 vs Pixel 6 Pro. If you zoom in and take a picture, you could notice that the Pixel 6 results are like oil painting in quality, while the Pixel 6 Pro keeping all the details nicely. If you always used to zoom in a lot and take pictures, the Pro is made for you.

For all the picture samples in full quality, check it out over here. (9To5Google)

Google Drive rolling out 'Suggested files' Material You widget
In a screenshot Google shared earlier, there a Google Drive widget with some files suggestions showing under the search bar. Apparently, this widget is starting to appear for some users.

The widget is given the name "Suggested files." The default size is 3x2 which is also the smallest you can go with. What's different from the widget that Google last showed is that there an upload icon beside the search bar. The file suggested in the widget is showing in a vertical format instead of horizontal like Google Maps. There are also some minor glitches which you can see that the file panel is a little over the edge of the widget.

It is rolling out via server side, so it may take a few days to roll out to everyone. The screenshot attached is how it will look in older Android version which doesn't come with Dynamic Colors.

Google Chrome desktop is testing on combining tab group and bookmarks
Chrome 95 on desktop is apparently testing something wild with the bookmark bar.

Spotted by Chrome Unboxed, Google internally called it as "Power Bookmarks," which can supercharge bookmarks, tab groups, and recent searches. It aim to help you bring together the sites you visited and the products you've looked at during shopping.

For now, it is still under development. You can enable the feature via chrome://flags/#tab-groups-save flag and restart the browser. After that, you'll see your bookmark bar is full of pastel red background, and the folder icons are disappear. Left click on it will open a tab group, but if there is too many bookmarks in the folder, then the browser crashes. For now to access the regular folder, you will need to right click on it.

As this is still under development, stuff may get change before it reach to everyone. (Android Police)

Android 12L, an OS that focus on optimising device with larger screen
Android tablet hasn't been really good at displaying content for years, and after years, Google finally bother to update it to help optimise content on devices like tablet and foldable (probably hinting they are releasing one soon).

There much more changes than better supporting larger screen devices. You now get better multitasking which there will be a taskbar at the bottom, opening other app instantly even when you are using other app. For apps that doesn't support using the whole screen, for example Instagram, it will just be a portrait screen aspect ratio with big grey bezel on two sides.

These are some of the main changes and there much more under the hood improvements. Mostly this is a big upgrade for larger screen Android devices, but still Google Pixel will be getting the beta update too, which probably will get other new stuff that is not mentioned in the site yet.
