Google Camera 8.4 add support for recording audio on different devices
To get the best audio quality while recording video, Google added support for recording audio with other devices on Google Camera 8.4.

This feature allows you to use your Pixel Bud for example, to capture the audio while recording video with your phone. It probably also support other devices to capture the audio too.

It is a very welcome addition so that your sound won't feel grainy when recording from a distance. For example, you are going for a tour around a city that crowded and recording video with your phone, there a lot of background noise but with the ability to capture audio right with other devices, you can now capture better audio quality. Here a drone shot with the Pixel 6 Pro, and the results are just so great
If you have watched the full review of the Pixel 6, then you will know that the video performance is still acceptable, when it is a challenging footage to capture then the Pixel struggle to take great video. Anyway, in normal daylight shot, the video is good and shouldn't really be a problem, this drone shot can prove it.

A drone pilot known as OriginaldoBo on Twitter shared a video which is captured on the Pixel 6 Pro with a drone attached to it. Overall the video is smooth, with the drone doing most of the stabilising work here, the Pixel 6 Pro is also keeping itself from being too shaky. The dynamic range looks good, even when moving at this fast rate.

Also the same guy shows how he mounted the Pixel to the drone, which basically just snapped the phone like how you mount it to the car phone holder or selfie stick. (Android Authority)

A dedicated test with the Pixel 6 Pro 4x telephoto lens
*Image in order of the writing

Reviewer at 9To5Google did a dedicated test of the 4x optical telephoto lens on the Pixel 6 Pro, and here is their review.

We will skip to 4x zoom test which the telephoto lens kicked in. Yes, the image quality is much better from the Pixel 5, and a little better from the Pixel 4 XL which also has a telephoto lens. At 20x, that the maximum zoom level which the Pixel 6 Pro can achieve. Comparing it to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the image looks softer, but anyway Pixel did a better job processing it with more accurate sky and brighter shadows on the building.

Lastly, Pixel 6 vs Pixel 6 Pro. If you zoom in and take a picture, you could notice that the Pixel 6 results are like oil painting in quality, while the Pixel 6 Pro keeping all the details nicely. If you always used to zoom in a lot and take pictures, the Pro is made for you.
