Google have reported to Android Authority on what they are planning to bring to older devices, here what they said:
“As with all Pixel features, we aim to bring as many features as possible to older Pixels where technically possible — though it might take some time to develop and offer a different experience,”
“Some technologies will require additional technical investments, such as Live Translate, as our on-device language models are engineered to run on Pixel 6’s proprietary Tensor chip on TPU (which older Pixel models don’t have),”
“We currently do not have a firm date for rollout to older Pixels at this point in time, but stay tuned for future announcements.”
So what this simply said is that Google will try to bring some features from the Pixel 6 to older Pixels, likely through Pixel Feature Drop. Feel like an extra report with nothing meaningful reported, like we knows that Google will do that every year anyway. (Android Authority)Android Authority
Here's what Google says about Pixel 6 features coming to older Pixels
Google's Pixel 6 uses a custom SoC to enable various features, but could we see these features come to older Pixels? Here's what Google says.

#Pixel #Pixel6 #Highlights Greg's Pixel 6 Testing Highlights Greg, a normal US residence got his hand on the new Pixel 6 earlier than expected and tested many stuff with it, then share it on Reddit. We will keep an eye on whatever he updated over there, and…
Small update about this post. That guy uploaded another video about his additional thoughts and clarifications for his Pixel 6, also answering some other people questions. Apparently he also added two photos of Pixel 6 camera sample, normal and Night Sight.
Nothing really special, but if you still want to take a look, you are welcome. Anyway he also created a new Reddit thread, summarising everything he shared before. I guess this should mark an end for his sharing of the experience with his Pixel 6. Hope he enjoy his new phone.

Pixel 6 doesn't have face unlock, for now
Before the Pixel 6 series is officially launched, we always though that Pixel 6 Pro will be getting face unlock, also in the retailer page (earlier leaked one), it continue to use the same picture with Face Unlock mentioned. Reviewers at 9To5Google are really good at observing the feature, and they reported it isn't there, for now.
Well, it isn't available for now doesn't mean the feature won't exist. It could probably come via a software update. Marketing material has also been pushed to more people, it very unlikely that the feature would be scrapped at the last moment. (9To5Google)

Google Lens is getting some minor tweaks for selecting different filters
1~2: Old, 3: Last, 4: Current
Next year, Google Lens is getting a big upgrade, but for now Google Lens on Android is having minor tweak updates so you can easily reanalyze images with a different filter.
The tweak is kind of going backward to the old design but with words displayed instead of icon. Anyway, welcome back because I had prefer this rather than the last one which is introduced in July.
The changes is rolling out via server side, live on the Google app version 12.41 for me, it could possibly come to older version though. Anyway, link to download it below. (9To5Google)

Google protests ‘Internet’ QS panel on Android 12 , details future Pixel Feature Drop tweak
Android 12 stable arrived for Pixel last week with Pixel Fall Launch, and one of the major changes is the "Internet" QS panel. Not everyone like the changes, and Google released a post on their Pixel phone support forum, to protest why they are doing it.
Google said they are merging Wi-Fi and Mobile data toggle into one to "introduce a simpler and more intuitive connectivity experience for Pixel users." The main defense said about that many people forgot to re-enable Wi-Fi after disabling it, and making the changes could help them remember to enable it.
Also Google reported that in an upcoming Pixel Feature Drop, they will let you access the Internet panel from the lockscreen without unlocking it. Switching Wi-Fi networks will not be permitted “for device security and privacy reasons.” (9To5Google)
*To be honest, I really hope to see it is displaying in the notification panel instead of a popup panel,

New Pixel 5a ad tell you over 100 reasons to switch over to a Pixel, targeting LG owners
YouTube Video
New Pixel 6 launching last week took a lot of the hype, but Google didn't forget their new mid range phone, the Pixel 5a. They released a hilarious video ad about why to switch over to a Pixel with more than 100 reasons.
The ad itself is nearly 9 minutes long. It goes through 113 reasons why you should switch. Some are useful features like introducing Pixel exclusive features, for example Call Screening (repeated 3 times, lol) and Now Playing.
Some are just joke like you can use it to draw nice rounded rectangle for art project in reason 52 (3:41), and then reason 30 (1:58) told the Pixel comes from Google who is “known for organizing the web and mapping the world,” and not the one known for making washing machines. It also mock Apple iMessage (6:10) so that you can "stand out in a group chat."
Google whole point is to mock LG owners, to persuade them to switch over to a Pixel, and Google themselves give the Pixel an award (8:30) for being the “best phone to switch to when the maker of your old phone stops making phones.”
Lastly, they teased Android 12 Material You at the very end with a homescreen screenshot, it has started rollout last week though. Anyway, the ad is kind of funny in several parts, get some time to watch if you are into it. (9To5Google)

Google Chrome is trying another way to speed up web browsing
Google is yet trying another way to improve CPU, GPU, and RAM performance in Chrome. A new feature referred as RawDraw, would help reduce the strain on system resources by changing the way pages are constructed and only rasterizing necessary parts.

chrome:flags#enable-raw-draw but not recommend to enable as it is relative unstable. Ehem, not an expert in this section. So if you want to learn more, check it out over here. (Android Police)Android Police

Google Camera adds a color temperature slider for Pixel 6
Photo in order: Standard, Warm, Cool
Besides getting new camera features and upgrades on the Pixel 6, it is getting another feature that Google didn't mention elsewhere, color temperature slider.
The new color temperature slider in the Google Camera app is currently available for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. It works alongside with the contrast and brightness sliders on the other side of the interface. The slider adjust the color temperature of the scene to make it look warmer or cooler, suiting the shot you need.
The feature is codename "chameleon", also no one is sure whether this can be brought to older Pixels or not. (9To5Google)

Google Play Store Material You redesign is widely rolling out
I can see more and more people from various community posting they are gaining access to the new Material You redesign of Play Store, so it seems to be a mass rollout I guess,
Personally, I haven't got it yet so I can't telll whether is it a complete redesign or not which earlier it is just a half-baked product. It is rolling out through server side as you may know, and the image attached are respectively from Android 11 and another from Android 12 with Dynamic Colors.
Stay tuned for it coming to your devices in the next few hours or days, or probably it already there. Also Play Store web version is set to get major redesign, hope it get a massive rollout as soon as possible so we can check out with it.
