Pixel 6 Magic Eraser sample surfaced, but doesn't work as good as expected
UPDATE: There another sample of Magic Eraser in action, and it looking quite good.
One cool Photos editor tool on the Pixel 6 is the Magic Eraser, which can remove objects from your photos magically without a trace. There limitation on everything though, so does Magic Eraser which can face issues if it is a complex picture, and here is an example.
So Kate Bevan on Twitter posted images of her attempting to remove two cars behind the shot, and Google AI is just having hard time on figuring what to do with the part of the image. Remember that it is a complex picture which is quite challenging. Magic Eraser will still perform good if you are removing small objects like people and signpost.
She also tried to add some blur to the photo, and the results are quite mixed. The subject’s back that the processing hasn’t figured out the outline and applied the blur to the whole right parts of the background. (Android Police)

Google confirmed they won't launch Pixel 6 in India, and here why
Since Google Pixel 4, Google haven't released their flagships to the India market yet. And it seems like Google confirmed they won't officially launch the new Pixel 6 to India too.
According to a statement sent to Gadgets360, Google won't plan any release for the Pixel 6 in the country. Here the full statement: “Due to a variety of factors including global demand supply issues." Also India phone market share are known for low volume of flagship segment, and Google didn't see any success in the Indian smartphone in the past, due to the premium pricing of Pixel phones most likely.
The news doesn't come as surprise, as earlier we just mention since the Pixel 4, Google haven't released their flagship devices to the country. Pixel 4a is the latest Pixel that is available for sale.
Pixel 4 didn't manage to get to India due to Soli not meeting the guidelines for use in the country. Meanwhile Pixel 4a 5G & 5 are not launch there due to non-availability of 5G networks. The Pixel 5a is only available for US & Japan due to chip shortage, but there possibility of getting expand to other markets.
Anyway hope Google can restore Pixel sales in India as soon as possible, starting with the Pixel 6a. (Android Central)

Google Recorder v3.0 gains Material You redesign

If you are initially setting it up, Entering the app and you are "welcome to a new kind of recorder." Then later you are prompt with whether to keep the recording local or not.
The homepage of the Recorder is also redesigned, with "Record respectfully around others" words in the center. The Record button is also much bigger now, with a black dot on the center. Other part of the places like Settings got Material You design, and these are pretty much the changes.
It is gradually rolling out through the Play Store. If you haven't got yet, you can download it from APKMirror, link below,

YouTube Music free tier getting audio only access, watching music video becomes Premium perk
Starting November 3 in Canada, YouTube Music will be getting free background listening which used to be a Premium perk. As part of that, YouTube Music will only play audio for you and you can't play videos in there if you don't pay for Premium.
With background play, you no longer need to turn on the screen all the time in order for the music to continue play music. To balance the changes, free YouTube Music users can no longer play music video with it. It is becoming a YouTube Premium perk as Google wants to shift YouTube Music free tiers as an audio-only experience. Anyway, you can still play those music video from the YouTube mobile app.
As mentioned earlier, it will start rollout from November 3, with “global expansion plans” not yet detailed. YouTube Music support forum already stated that YouTube Premium users get access to watch video on it, skip track unlimited times and enjoy music without ads. (9To5Google)

Google Docs gaining universal @ menu for inserting content, also add a page break before paragraphs
Google Docs is getting some nifty feature, a universal insertion menu by typing just "@" in your document.
In the menu, you will see a list of recommended files, people, meetings, as well as different content elements and formats to insert into your work. With this addition, you can quickly insert with more productivity.
Also, you can now add page break before paragraphs. It also supports import and export Microsoft Word that have “Page break before” applied to paragraphs and Docs will keep the formatting. You can set it at Format > Line & paragraph spacing > “Add page break before."
Both starting to roll out for Google Workspace accounts and should be fully rollout by mid November. (Google Workspace Updates)

By scheduling this type of event, "you can block out and protect your time for heads-down individual work." On the calendar, you will see it will feature a headphone icon and you can assign a different color for it to differentiate from other events and other meetings.

You can also quickly edit contact names to “control what contact name is displayed to email recipients.” People in your organisation in the To, Cc, and Bcc will display avatar chips. with the checkmarks in the dropdown menu when somebody has already been added.
Gmail will validate email addresses are typed in the correct email format. Sending email outside of the organisation will use a color theming to make you aware. Different domain names within the same organisation will no longer be marked as "External." Since it a big update which modify Gmail compose UI, extensions will break.
