Google Pixel 6: Camera & call features addition and improvements [2/3]
The ultra wide front camera will be able to record 4K video. Google partnered with SnapChat to bring Quick Tap to Snap to the Pixel 6 later this year. Motion Mode bring movement to pictures. Take photos of your kids riding scooter or playing skateboards with Action Pan. Take long exposure shots when an object is moving like waterfall or city scene. Real Tone can take pictures of people with dark skin tone more accurately.

Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro have improved speech recognition and language understanding model, thanks to Tensor chip. If you are trying to call a business number, no worry as Wait Times and Direct My Call can help you. you'll see current and expected hour-by-hour Wait Times for the week before calling. When you call, Direct My Call can transcribed automated message and menu options for you in real-time and display them on the screen, and you can interact with it.

Google Pixel 6: Live Translate & Assistant Quick Phrase makes life easier, also pricing info [3/3]
Lastly, Live Translate give you access to message with people in different languages. It can detect whether a message in WhatsApp or SnapChat, is different from your device language. All of these process happen within the Private Compute Core, everything stays on the device. Activate Assistant and say “Be my interpreter, ” you can take turns translating what is said in up to 48 languages. With Assistant's "Quick Phrase", picking up a phone call is as simple as saying "accept."

Pixel 6 starts from just $599 and Pixel 6 Pro srarts from $899, incredible price tag for a flagship device. You can pre-order from the Google Store starting today. What Google Tensor is capable of
Inside the Pixel 6, it is powered by Google homemade chip, Google Tensor. The chip makes the Pixel 6 smarter and more powerful.

Some stuff that the Google Tensor chip can do, for example on the Pixel 6, Google Assistant on Google Tensor uses the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). For the first time, this technology can arrive onto a smartphone and with the high quality ASR model even for long-running applications such as Recorder and Live Caption without quickly draining the battery.

You can also communicate in other languages with Live Translate, thanks to Google Tensor AI technology. When you are in a messaging app, you can directly translate words without leaving the messaging app, making it more hassle-free to translate. The chip also powers computational photography which Google has been leading for quite a while.

Google Pixel 6 cases officially announced, also hinted how the new Pixel Stand works

Following the official announcement of the Pixel 6, the new cases are released too.

You may have noticed that this isn't fabric anymore, but a translucent color case. Google said they designed it "to let your Pixel shine through," also "combing colors to personalise your Pixel even further." These cases are made with an inner layer of 75% recycled material. There 3 color options for the Pixel 6 cases while there 4 color options for the Pixel 6 Pro. These cases are priced at $29 on the Google Store.

Besides, Google said that the Pixel Stand 2nd gen is coming soon, providing faster wireless charging support for the Pixel 6 up to 21W while Pixel 6 Pro can charge up to 23W. Wait Time and Direct My Call feature in action
Starting today. US Pixel 6 owners will be able to get access to the new Wait Time and Direct My Call feature. And here how it works.

With Wait Time, you will see how many people usually call the toll number at certain timeline before you even placed a call to the business number. And now you can finally plan when to call them to avoid long waits. Once you called them, Direct My Call will helps you to transcribe automated message into menu options, making it easier to understand which option to choose.

Google is also letting you know what the unknown number you are receiving is about. You can share information about unknown businesses that you call or answer and over time the information will displayed on others people device that are receiving the call from the number. Manual Call Screen is also expanded to Pixel users in UK, France, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Italy and Spain.

Real Tone brings image equity to everyone, also improved photo editor tool
Taking pictures of people with dark skin tone, always make the final results of it feel unrealistic on the Pixel. With the new Google Pixel 6, Google kinda solve the problem, and also improves Google Photo editor tool for better support to people with dark skin tone.

In the Google Pixel 6, there a new technology which Google called it Real Tone which take pictures of dark skin tone similar to real life looks. Google get to achieve it by increasing the number of portraits of people of color in the image datasets that train their internal camera models.

Google Photos also get some improvements for better support of editing pictures with various skin tone. The updated auto enhance improve picture’s color accuracy and lighting with just a tap, also it works well across skin tones. Google Photos for Android and iOS will get the update in the coming weeks.

Magic Eraser in Google Photos helps you get rid of photobombing
No one is perfect and of course, sometimes the pictures you take may be not perfect too. If you don't like certain objects or other peoples appearing in your photos, the new Magic Eraser tool could solve your issue.

With a few tap on the Google Photos, you can get rid of stuff that you thinks it distractions. You are not limited to photos that are captured on your new Pixel 6, you can even take those photos from years ago and get it edit too. Magic Eraser can suggest you what to remove in the photo, like people in the background, power lines and power poles.

You can also manually brush out objects and people that you don't want to appear in your photo, just draw a circle at the stuff and Magic Eraser can try to predict what you want to remove with machine learning.

Google didn't seem to mention the tool will come to other devices, including older Pixels, so a Pixel 6 exclusive tool for now. (Google Blog)
