For those who seem to be experiencing sluggishness on their Pixel 8 series devices, this might be the reason for it
The Android 17 QPR 1 update for Google Pixel devices contains a regression in the Pixel kernel driver tree, causing stuttering, lag, and outright freezes under memory pressure.
Unfortunately, this buggy QPR 1 stable update, which includes numerous UI bugs and performance issues, is also the last update for the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6 devices.
