PSA to Pixel 6 owners:

This is a bit of a common sense statement but I know someone will do it, a Pixel 4 bootloader WILL flash on the Pixel 6 series, keep this in mind as a bootloader.img also repartitions the device and will result in wiping your entire partition table, be very careful what images you flash on the Pixel 6 series

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for having me. I am moving on to other things. The direction I want to go with these devices are different from what Joey and Anierin want. I want to add more customization for the device while keeping stock functionalities. I want a customized launcher, I want some different things and want to continually build on it. I respect what you all have done and are doing, but unfortunately I want to be the maintainer and not just a vessel for release. The way you all hover over a chat and jump in with MY users or any maintainer is highly toxic and pushes users away. I want my recommendation on what the devices need or don't to have value. I don't like the pressure of add this or that for the device I am working on. I have a shortlist of things myself and some pixel devs are working on and auto brightness for live display isn't one of them. We have it built in already and not by way of lineage. It doesn't make sense to add anything to do with live display when most hate live display and remove as much as it as they can. I don't need "official" or any other form of validation. I have done this myself for years and will continue to. My core users who followed me from my other roms will follow me wherever, I will not be "stealing" any users ; they came with me and will move on with me. I hope some stay and whomever picks up the torch or doesn't can accommodate their needs. It's not fair to be stigmatized by not wanting to add a feature or function that is redundant to what the device already has to offer. I want to have decent conversations with users. I don't want them to feel shamed for not knowing something. I want to lift others up and share knowledge to help the community grow. I don't agree with the attitudes you all have with your users. I get some are frustrating, but you guys get downright rude af. Which this is each your own choices on user interaction. I will keep my trees on the devices GitHub for others to use. I will do one last evolution x build for Pixel 6 series, but as unofficial. I will update my xda thread to be unofficial and remove any banners. I will have the unofficial final evolution x updates uploaded to my own drive.

New evolution x unofficial coming later today.. it will be temporary till my other projects get back up and running but I assure you all, there will be roms

Pixel 7 display driver running on Pixel 6 Pro

We are getting closer to the moment when we will need to decide what to do with that bounty :( I don't know, maybe some "outsider" developer would be interested to donate him for a Pixel so he could work on it, or anything?

We would need some solid developer who has some experience around the topic though

• Includes the latest Radioactive Kernel! Merged kernel common and all usb fuckery from upstream has been removed and all usb dongle connections work seemlessly.

Notes:
• Lock screen custom options apply weird
Use default, and set to not use the big ol option and make it single line
• If you flash dirty, be sure to go to apn settings, 3 dot box, reset to default, reboot. DO NOT SET AN APN. it would set it itself if it were a clean install, for now it defaults to what it reads as default.
