Weirdly, Google end up cancelling face unlock for the Pixel 6 when earlier rumors are hinting the phone will get it. A month ago, XDA reported that Google might include it in a future software update, and well seems like this is true after all.
The team over at 9To5Google found out that Google is preparing the feature with strings code reference, but unfortunately the smaller Pixel 6 won't be having it. It unclear whether Google is going to launch it as part of the Pixel Feature Drop or stable Android 12L update, as it is currently still under development.

Pixel 6 owners in Europe reported December update break carrier network service

Hmm... I thought December update by Google is expected to fix tons of issues on their Pixel, but Pixel 6 owners end up complaining network issues, most reports are coming from Europe regions.
Pixel 6 received its December update a few days ago, and it has been split into few regions build instead of having one universal build. Users in Europe should be receiving the update with the build number ending with .A4, but some got the OTA update which install .A1 global build from them. After installing it, they realised their network connectivity is having some issue.
If you have bought your Pixel 6 phone from Europe and received the global build update, get the European build from here and sideload it, issues should be resolved by this point.

A few days ago, Google has released December update for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Just recently, Google seems to have released another region build for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
The build that have got released is for the Australia models, build number: SQ1D.211205.016.A5. At the same time, Google also stated the global build for Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro is SQ1D.211205.016.A1 over in their support forum, so don't get confused as Verizon specific build if you earlier thought it is.
Anyway just updated our Pixel 6 December update post to include the new Australia region builds link for the Pixel 6. You can also download it down below.

A few days ago, Google has released December update for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Just recently, Google seems to have released another region build for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
The build that have got released is for the Australia models, build number: SQ1D.211205.016.A5. We are starting to post Addon Features for Pixel devices from now on in this channel!
Ok guys, so I decided to try post this module from @ElTifo. You had probably heard of this module earlier somewhere, yes, it actually featured on XDA article a few months ago, which he try do something similar currently but on Android 11.
Before flashing it, I had recommend you guys to go through his XDA thread that is for your device and read all the details. Telegram has a very limited characters allowed for a single post, I don't think I can fit all the text in here at once. The thread will tell you what this specific module do, what to do first, how to resolve bootloop issue...
I hope to try featured some modules that will enhance your usage experience on the device. Earlier the channel has posted @kdrag0n Android 12 Extensions as it expand customisations on your device running Android 12. Since this module do similar stuff, I think we shall featured it too.
The channel is meant for all Pixel 6 devices development stuff and news, so yeah, just took some time and make a format for this module since it has quite a strict requirement while flashing it. Anyway, it better that you guys just read from his XDA thread, meanwhile the channel post will notify you about the module update.
And I wanna give a tip on how to easily understand these modules. The Visualizer Fix is only for first time installation, Addon Features is a universal module for all devices and SystemUI is device specific, with exclusive features bundled.

They have also said that the update that have been rolling out to users phone aren't wrong, there is also “no benefit” when using one version over another in different regions.
Lastly on Reddit, Google added that they are currently investigating the issue and will provide more information when it's available.

In order to truly listen to lossless quality music, you need external DAC and a pair of premium headphones, but unfortunately Pixel 6 is having issues over this part.
Many Pixel 6 owners reported that connecting external Hi-Fi DACs over USB-C doesn't have any sound output, with some music apps end up crashing, and some play screeching sound. The issue is already first reported way back in November, even though the issues has been posted on Google Issue Tracker, still on the December update, the issue isn't fixed yet.
Just to mention that external DACs isn't very popular, so there not a lot of users being affected. Less reports mean Google can hardly noticed it, hence this explained why Google didn't fix it then.

Frustrated with poor signal on your Pixel 6? Here's a way to solve it

So some Pixel 6 owners updated their phone to the latest December update but found out that the phone is having mobile signal reception issues. Google later have explained that it's not due to the wrong region builds being installed, and they are currently investigating the cause of the issue.
For now, someone on Reddit have found out that installing Google Carrier Services app beta version seems to fix the issue. He said he have also try other SIM card to fix but apparently it doesn't do the job until he updated the Carrier Services app to the beta version.
Other Pixel 6 users who have tried his method commented that it worked and they no longer face poor signal strength on their phone. So if you own the device and faced the issue, try install the beta version of the Carrier Services app by Google, link down below.

Some Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro units are having screen crack issues

This is an issue that is reported by many users a few months ago, but just recently being mentioned by the media and here we are. Apparently some Pixel 6 users out there reported their phone has a crack on the front glass.
Users on Reddit and Google's support forum\ had been reporting it back when the phone is first released in a few weeks time. Pixel 6 Pro got a much noticeable and bigger crack since it has a curved screen, some Pixel 6 units out there also appeared to have the same issue too.
Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are using Gorilla Glass Victus, it weird that the glass crack easily. It could be probably due to manufacturing defect but Google hasn't provide any information on the issue yet and they are actively investigating it.
So yeah, we hope Pixel 6 users in our community don't face this issue since it only happen for a few.

Changelog:
• Added more custom themed icons
• Show/Hide QS edit icon on QS Footer
• Show/Hide Quick access Developer options icon on QS Footer
• Added one more option for QS Quick pulldown with one finger
(now you can drag from anywhere on the top to quickly access brightness bar)
• Long press QS footer Settings icon to access Rom Control
(since some of you don't see the app icon on the drawer I thought on this solution)
• Added option to invert 2 or 3 button navigation modes layout
(meaning...now you can swap back and recent apps buttons)
• Added option to configure back gesture navigation height
(full screen, half screen, one third of the screen or just back down on the screen)
• Updated Rom Control app
Notes:
• IMPORTANT: Read the XDA thread before you start to install the module for better understanding.
• Install this module (Visualizer Fix) before trying out above modules if you haven't installed it before.
• Addon_Features (universal) is "harmless" module that works on any Pixel device running on STOCK ROM, SystemUI (device specific) is "THE" module that bring in exclusive features.
