....went for a lovely walk (and a picnic) today up to an Iron Age hill fort thats a few miles from home....

....amazing views from the top of the hill, only slightly spoilt by the machines eating the earth....

....a red sunflower has bloomed....

....echinacia is still flowering....

....sittin' on the porch sippin' a Gin N Tonic....


Just gotta love an English summer....

....mistakenly thought it was a cucumber, then seemed like it was a courgette....but really its a squash plant, and its taking over the greenhouse.....

....best beetroot we've grown so far....

....going away for a few days....
