Your Phone Is a Goldmine of Hidden Data for Cops. Here's How to Fight Back
For the thousands of people protesting and reporting on George Floyd’s death at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department—or even for bystanders caught up in the demonstrations—arrests, injuries, and even death are becoming commonplace in this moment.…
As a reminder the police forces around the country murder people almost every day.
The camps are still negotiating with the city, and a new eviction notice must be put up before they can evict. We will keep you all updated.
Evicting the homeless is telling them to set up a camp in another part of the city. Because that is all that will happen. There are not enough beds for the 18000 homeless people in Philadelphia. The city uses its 40000 properties acquired from eminent domain to sell to big real estate instead of helping those who are shelterless. This is a crime against humanity City Of Philadelphia, PHA, Mayor Jim Kenney, and all of you rotten landlords. You will understand the wrath of an angry population much like other cities have these past few weeks if you take action on the homeless. The tension is high right now among all of us. 40% of renters at risk of eviction when this moratorium is over, and you DARE to evict those who don't even have shelter without providing the necessary resources and infrastructure to aid the 18000+ of us! You do not understand what it is like to have slept on a sidewalk like I have. You don't understand how difficult it is to get out like I have. Your 6 figure government salaries are unempathetic to the struggles that I have faced as a homeless person in the city of Philadelphia, and I am only an eviction away from being right back in that position again like over 40% of my fellow Philadelphia renters.
