Strongly recommend people on Twitter call out this BS. Organizers have shared on their social that the police already have a plan to raid at 2am. This whole day was just for show, and we know it. The city is trying to make it seem like the camp residents are being unreasonable when we all know that PHA is corrupt and impossible. Give him a piece of your minds.

The camps were *not* swept over night. Residents remain on high alert. Rain all day will likely put a damper on the city's plan to evict. As long as camp is still there, there is need for back up and assistance.

Could have just went to lowes instead guys. You're really bad at this budgeting thing.
Instead of the city evicting the camp, the city could use overtime funds for officers to install grills in parks across the city.

Support Housing Encampments
Yesterday, those staying at the housing encampments survived the city's third attempt at an eviction. They have now passed the final deadline for dispersion and suspect that the city will send in police at any time to try to take down the camps. The organizers are calling for support. Here are a few ways to help:
Show up. They need to keep a strong presence at the camps to discourage the city from entering. There are two camps. Camp JTD located at 22nd & Ben Franklin Blvd. Camp Teddy located at Ridge Ave. & Jefferson St.
Call, email and tweet Mayor Kenney and Acting Managing Director Tumar Alexander and demand they #StopTheSweeps. Mayor Kenney - james.kenney@phila.gov, 215-686-2181, @phillymayor. Tumar Alexander - tumar.alexander@phila.gov, 215-686-3480.
Bring Supplies. This includes food, tents, bedding, medical supplies, hygiene needs, and art supplies. Check the camp's social medias for their current supply requests.
Donate. You can venmo Camp JTD @domimc.
