This is confirmed by official documents issued in March 2025, which show that License No. 1,000 was granted to a private company called SARL SOPRETA to import more than 10 tons of hazardous substances classified as hazardous and banned in several countries, including anhydrous hydrochloric acid and nonylphenol ethoxylated. The license was granted through a deal with a Belgian company called MBM INTERNATIONAL SA for a sum exceeding €43,000, with direct shipment to the port of Oran. This operation raises serious questions about the true objectives behind the import of these materials and who will use them. How could licenses of this magnitude be granted to a virtually unknown company that does not appear in any known industrial registry, given the absence of any effective oversight or transparent environmental reports?
