Persistence is ushering in a new era of Interchain NFTs with the InterNFT Working Group: progress report 📈

💎 NFTs are taking the blockchain space by storm. The disruptive value of these unique digital assets is becoming clearer as more use cases continue to be identified. NFTs represent the future of gaming, art and even real-world asset ownership. Interchain NFTs are the next phase of the evolution of non-fungible tokens.

🦾 Persistence has been spearheading the InterNFT Working Group, alongside the Interchain Foundation and ixo, since September of 2020. Our mission is to make NFTs interoperable across blockchain networks and to enable ownership, control and rights management of NFT metadata and linked resources, regardless of where these are located.

📆 We’ve made tremendous headway on our journey so far, and we expect to formalise draft Interchain standards by the end of Q1 2021.

There are a couple of important things to remember when sending your Magic Transaction to ensure your transaction is successful.

1️⃣ Please set your gas limit to 50,000 in MetaMask (using the 'Advanced Options' functionality while sending your transaction).

2️⃣The transaction is to be made on the Ethereum network, not Matic Network (it should say 'Ethereum Mainnet' at the top of your MetaMask).
