🕰 As 2020 comes to a close we’d like to wish everyone a very happy New Year and express our deepest gratitude for being a part of our community! Big things are in store for 2021!
⛰ We came out of stealth with Persistence in January of 2020. In August we joined Twitter and have recently surpassed 10,000 followers! Despite any curve balls the year’s thrown at us we’ve grown, pressed on, and kept building towards the future as we explore new possibilities for cross-chain financial products. None of this can happen without you all.
🚠 Persistence is not just a mainchain and a whole shebang of next-gen capabilities for financial products which have not yet existed. Persistence is every person in our community!
🌋 Yes, this has been a tough year for everyone with many unforeseen hurdles. But as they say, "what does not kill you only makes you stronger!"

💎 NFTs are taking the blockchain space by storm. The disruptive value of these unique digital assets is becoming clearer as more use cases continue to be identified. NFTs represent the future of gaming, art and even real-world asset ownership. Interchain NFTs are the next phase of the evolution of non-fungible tokens.
🦾 Persistence has been spearheading the InterNFT Working Group, alongside the Interchain Foundation and ixo, since September of 2020. Our mission is to make NFTs interoperable across blockchain networks and to enable ownership, control and rights management of NFT metadata and linked resources, regardless of where these are located.
📆 We’ve made tremendous headway on our journey so far, and we expect to formalise draft Interchain standards by the end of Q1 2021.
