Whistle
I have always been a firm believer of supernatural things. From story to real life events, heck I even believe that we are not the only one living in the whole universe and that alien really does exist. Though I still haven’t seen a single alien or their spaceship but I have plenty of ghostly encounters.You see, I am living in a country wherein talks about ghosts and other entities were far more believable than other things. Superstitious belief has been a part of our everyday life. You can literally just count in your hands as to how many people don’t believe on ghost. Even if how many years passed it will still always be there.I am not very fond of ghost stories or even a thrill seeker going to haunted places trying to look for evidence that ghost does exist. I have some ghostly encounters already that I don’t need to make myself be in a situation wherein I can get crazy by doing such things. I am a big scaredy-cat so I never really enjoyed horror movies but I love watching them. I get easily scared even if I know that those ghost in the movies are fake, still I get easily spooked.This is a story that happened to me i think 10 years ago. My older sister works far away from my parents place but whenever she have her day-off she still comes home after her shift ends since the next day it will be her day-off. Whenever she comes home she spends most of her time in-front of the computer chatting, watching or reading some stuffs and to chat with her boyfriend who was living in South Africa. She usually talks to him around 1am or 2am so before she use the computer i was the one who was always using it.Then one time my sister decided to sleep for awhile since her boyfriend will go online at 3am and so i got the chance to surf the net. As i was busy surfing the net i suddenly hear a whistle, i looked around and after making sure that no one was around me that time I thought that maybe it was just my hallucinations and so i get back on keeping myself busy. But then for the second time i heard a whistle again so what i did, i stand up and check where my sister was sleeping because maybe she was just pulling a prank on me, because she was just sleeping on the couch where our computer is near. but when i saw her sleeping so peacefully that moment i got so scared already ( since i can easily get scared even those fake horror movies).I know there was something off already but then i just let it out of my mind and trying to divert my attention on what i was doing. But then i heard the third whistle, i never dared to turn back and look as to who it was when i heard that i immediately turned off the computer and run upstairs and tried to calm myself down and force myself to sleep.I knew already what will happen to me once I turn around to look back and see who it was.In our country (i am from Philippines) there was a saying, that if you heard a whistle 3 times then at the third time do not look back and just ignore it. Because if you do look back you will be having a face to face experience with ghost.I actually do have a lot of creepy experiences but i will share it next time around.
