Happiness

When rivers flows and fire rage,
Serotonin leads the way
Setting happiness free from it's cage

Happiness is like a flowing river
No matter how much you try,
You can never stop nor run it dry.

Happiness is like a new born child
There are days when you cry
But still, you'll never go back.

But pain is saying life is not fair
but maybe I still love it here.
If I get to choose again,
I'll choose living, and I'll do it without a scare.

Just a little way of saying good morning.

There are some seeds in the soul of soil, that only sprout under rain..

There are candles of life... inside every soul that burn only when they experience love...

Those burning petals without quenching the thirst for a kiss.. Those lips... got sweeter with those unspoken words

Yet we sit still living in each other's eyes... Its beyond mute😞😌

The thing that I fear is facing you...
The thing that I fear is obsessing you..
The thing that I fear is
Loving you..

For a while I was thinking why I fell for you...
I'm still not sure...

Maybe I fell first..
Might be then the reasons came ..

it was all about impressing you..
Expressing me...
Addressing US...

The beat that I skipped
First time we met...
And the heat fogged Every time we met...

Each time I see one I try seizing it...
But every time a strange fear grip me..
All the time I managed to bury them..

Maybe I was afraid..
Afraid that u were in love with someone who isn't me..
Holded hands that weren't mine..
Smiled and blushed about something that wasn't about me...

I loved those moments our eyes levelled..
I never understood what was that,
You shot into my heart with your eyes..
And I will never trade these moments...

Cause I hope......

She was born as a detested juvenile
She eternally coveted for love,
She eternally was regaled with bitterness
Folk shouted her as"cursed girl"
She was coerced and victimized
She yearned to dwell a natural life
She was feted like a "slave" in her own cottage
She cherished the "freedom" of birds in the sky
She wished to drift high in the sky
She was disparaged for her "appearance"
She was feasted as "untouchable" for her dark-skinned color
She reminisced that she is a "burden"
She was imperceptible in her own clan
She was being auctioned as a "slave"
Yanks cascading down her cheeks
She moaned and wept all through the twilight
She inferred now she is being "used"
She inferred she can't invent more "pain"
She evolved into a "lethal poison"
She annihilated everyone who"tortured" her
She yearned to be one of the stars in the sky
She tainted herself, evolved into a shiny star in the sky

Title : Let's

Let's begin or it may be late
Let's start titillating the fate
Let's wonder when and how
Let's pause then and now
Let's get out of hives
Let's start enjoying our lives

Sitting under the sun n thinking about the moon
That's the saddest movement
When I was thinking about you
Seconds past, minutes past, weeks past
Even yrs too
Still u live inside me somewhere
That's the saddest movement I ever had
Gud night

DAY 27
CONDITION: All the best
PROMPT: You are stopped by law enforcement on a not-so-traveled road. He claims that you were speeding and broke several other traffic laws. He can take you to jail and impound your car. But you can go free without a ticket if you perform oral sex on him. What do you do?

"WHAT!? You want me to go down on you? You ugly piece of..."

"Offence. Number. Eight. Insulting a cop." He cut in with a rich smile on his face.

"No I can't believe this. Out here? What if someone sees?"

"Hey, lady. I've patrolled this place for TWO WHOLE MONTHS! You're the third person dumb enough to use this route."

There was a cockiness about him that riled her. Her eyes were glued to the icky moustache his nose seemed to have pooped onto his face.

"Grrr. Offence three for you too. You just insulted a civilian. Asked for a sloppy on your D and gave me a near death experience with your breath."

"Lady, go down or let me pin a nice, little ticket on that bum of yours."

"Pervert! First you want a sloppy, now it's my bum you're after? Ugh, you irritate me."

"Bum is short for bumper!" He countered.

"Wow, being out here sure messes with a person's head. Cops put tickets on bumper's now? You liar."

The cop's hands descended to his bony waist. He eyed her not saying a word.

"What are you looking at?" She quizzed.

"A little princess pulling at the fangs of law enforcement. I'm writing you this ticket. Since that's how you want it."

Her tense eyebrows lost their fire. A ticket was the last thing she wanted. And jail?! How would father react?
Mother. She'd go ahead and donate the car to the church.

"Mister. Let's not be rash." She said politely.

"Interesting. Something to discuss? ...A change of mind perhaps?" He snickered and twirled his ragged waist.

The sight was puke worthy but she managed to keep it down. By now, the cop's third leg was almost drilling a hole through his skin tight pants...

Molly sighed, and turned to her car.

"Hey princess, not so fast." His voice had lost its ruggedness. Thoughts of pleasure had weakened his chords.

"Shut up." She fired back.
She leaned in through her window and reached for something. The suspicious cop's hand lingered around his taser for fear of the unknown.

She strutted back to him. Rolling her hips. Knocking his brain dead with fantasies. She looked him square in the eye, tying her dark flowy hair into a bun.

One step closer. Then another. One hand on his pulsing chest
and the other wandering lower...

She gave a firm squeeze. Masochistic ecstacy flooded his face. She felt him some more and warned,

"Mister...don't you dare blow up in my mouth."

It is true that my weeping transforms,
Myself into the danger of night,
Because i know of no fight,
That me doesn't mourns.

Maybe it is because i am,
But i am not as i do not think.
Who thinks when one has man,
That destroys lives in a blink.

I feel love yet so loveless,
I wish to die, and by that anxious,
To know my face; emotionless,
After all of the sayings i feel my sanctions.

DAY 26
PROMPT: From the picture, write a story.

So the one in the middle. Yeah, the one badly in need of flab trappers. He's Joey.

Then to the left. Not your left, dummy. Joey's left. Yeah, that's Slim. Calm, cool, collected. He lived for making fashion statements. But whatever the problem was, his hours in front of the mirror brought him out looking like this. Come on, just look at him. Who dresses like that to a party? Rumours say slim was battling starvation.

Well alright, since you want to know so bad, I'm going to tell you where I am. Look left of Joey. No, sorry, what's his other hand called? Yeah look there.

Hey wipe away that thought, I'm not the guy wearing the blanket looking like he's in LaLa land. That's Caesar. The frigging cause of everything that happened that night. Oh I feel like pummeling that horrid face of his.I heard his child is as stupid, maybe more.Sad I didn't punch him hard enough to knock out those bogus genes from his insides.

Author's note: Unfortunately the picture can't be added to this because of the rules. It's a picture of three rugged bums walking ahead of two other bums and one man in a suit.
And yeah I decided against posting it earlier. 😅

Soul mates!
Soul mates are inferred to be together
Soul mates precise each other
A string is bound between two souls
Essences of two souls bang for each other
Sometimes they chortle together,
sometimes they squabble together
the string gets intertwined here and there
The string is armored between soul mates
Together they dwell vitality together
String retains them together in up-downs in vitality
Jointly they are vital to face obstacles
If soul mates are detached they are shaky
Together to formulate bonding powerfully,
You yearn to subsidize and care for each other,
You yearn to ratify each other's imperfections,
Waddle on the same hallway together fulfilling each other's fantasies
Love each other's inner elegance,
External glamour is ephemeral
Soul mates are meant to be together even eternity,
When strings eventually collide,
Soul mates convene each other's gaze,
Heartbeats together, pondering life together
It's fate to be together, cant be rectified
Together they dwell, a vitality replenished with elations and despairs

DAY 28
CONDITION: Paranormal
PROMPT: It was Christmas morning. The sidewalks were empty except for a lone man walking a kid’s bike to...

This happened every year. Tucked under my mum, we stared out the window. My mom looked on intently. I had chills all over. Every family on the street did same.

We weren't allowed to speak, we weren't allowed to make a sound. We all had eyes fixed on him.

He hobbled with each step. The bicycle he pushed seemed to have aged with him. Paint all worn off, rusty spokes, one tie partially empty of air.
Disunity was the definition of his scarf.

Each year, he'd walk down the road to the mouth of the forest. The hills around our valley would quake. I hadn't been able to stomach it all of my fifteen years on earth. Mother would press my face against her chest to muffle my sniffles.

Nobody was allowed to speak of the events of Christmas morning. This year, I was going to be strong. I was going to face that which I feared.

We moved to the next window. Only the first part of his walk could be seen through the first.
Closer. Closer. Closer.

And then it begun.

The hills... They danced. Moving from side to side as the trees began to part.
The clear sky was no more. The thunder pealed. Weary clouds dark as soot descended to cover the forest.
And then, the beating of wings...

A shriek tore through the sky and parted the clouds. My eyes were widened in awe and were teary in fright.

Then, it fell from the sky. The trees bowed, the hills were still. It was beyond my words. The king had come.
The Griffon that protected us.
It was real.

The man bowed his head. The bicycle was an offering?
The creature stared at it, extending regal wings towards it.Then it vanished.

I turned to my mother, face drained of blood and expression.

"Max. That man's son broke the rules fifty years ago. He took his bike out for a ride on Christmas morning.

I was five then. The man was over sixty. His son was twelve. The Griffon devoured him leaving the bike that defiled the road and placing the man under a curse.

Each year. He walks down the path with the bike to promise the Griffon that no other would defile the path. No one knows when or how the curse will be broken."

I'm sorry I might have pushed you too far
Life is about making choices, please don't fright
I'm sorry I might have let you down
Put me in your shoes and see why I cry.

I'm sorry I gave up on her
She was the spark that lighted my soul on fire
So I'm sorry I left without a sign
If only things were better, I wouldn't have tried.

Sometimes we do the wrong thing for the right reason
I thought I was helping but no I was not fixing.
I took you up, then I let you down
Please forgive me, I never meant to be foul.

DAY 29
CONDITION: Horror
PROMPT: You wake up at 4 am, and there is a man you have never met standing over you.

"Jesus!" My hands searched for the lamp switch and my glasses. Everything was blurry. But I knew there was someone there. This couldn't be a dream. I closed my eyes to slip on my glasses and...

"Babe, it's just me." She said.

I could swear my wife was beside me when I woke up. Now she wasn't? I could swear!!! There were three people in the room.

My mind raced. Gut coiled into a knot. I backed away chest heaving. Eyes locked on her the whole way till I was almost sitting.

"Babe, why you being all weird? Bad dream?" She asked, smiling warmly as always.

She came closer. "Babe?"
I still hadn't said a word. I was stuck in my head.

She joined me on the bed, head on my chest and arms wrapped around me.
"Babe talk to me! What's wrong? I don't like it when you get like this."

That was my wife. I sighed and melted into her. I was calm again.

"Did you hear that?" My body stiffened again.

"Yes I did, your heart beat is beautiful." She replied.

"No, no, the bed shook. You didn't feel it?"

She sighed and gave me worried eyes. "Babe, I think you're hungry, I'll go fix breakfast."

"No. Liz, I'm serious. I hea..Ha! there it is again!"

This time I was sure! I didn't need a second opinion.

"Liz you didn't feel that?"

She said nothing and cuddled harder. Too hard.

"Liz stop. I'm serious."

Then another shake. It was vigorous. Someone was down there!

I squirmed out of her grip. She was pretending to be asleep. I left her on my side of the bed and moved to hers. Slowly. I reached for the baseball bat. It was perched on the wall for emergencies. And for times like this.

...
It was Liz! Another Liz. The sincerity in her eyes. That was Liz. My Liz! All tied up and gagged. Someone had shoved her under there.

Then I stopped. Who was on the bed with me?!

I lifted my head. Liz was on the bed. Right where I left her

I looked back down. Liz was on the floor, tied up and gagged.

Then to the bed again. NOBODY THERE!

Footsteps scurried around the room.I saw no one. My ears followed them. From end to end. Up the walls and down. The lamp flickered.

And icy palm touched my shoulder. A reptilian tongue searched my ear.
"Your heart beat is beautiful, I can almost taste it."

Title: Drowning all the way down.
I did build up walls,
secured myself in a world of my own,
but still those waves hit me,
drowning me all the way down.

A hand that came from somewhere,
shook my faith in myself to the bone,
the hand went away,
but the aftermath made me drown.

A constant struggle, a ferocious war,
going on with and against myself,
making me hate what I am,
just because I was being myself.

A small crime, to be what I am,
made me an object of loathe,
made me drown in waves of depression,
but, then I made an oath.

No one must be my boundary,
no one should be the brutal judge,
who will make me drown again,
their oppression won't make me budge.

I rose from the waves,
winning against a weaker me,
let's see if they win now,
if they can define me.

P.S : They here is anyone who made me believe that I am not good enough.
