Anokhi Part 2
Anokhi could feel the raw hard wooden protruded bridge under her feet. There was no big monster standing and challenging her in front of her. It was just darkness. In the rush, she had forgotten she would be needing something to light her path or was it just her inexperience in exploring this part only during the dusk. Yet, she was confident, it was the place where she had needed to jump. She fastened her gown and checked on her knives. Everything was in place. A throne should never be left empty. Its heir should always accompany it. Anokhi was that heir. After five days, she had to sit on that as their new leader. Tomorrow had to be the day when they would be starting the proceedings. She would be back by the dawn but if she couldn’t, her grandma and Alok would be there to lead the people like they always. Same as they did when her Father went missing one day.
As Anokhi jumped into the water, cold, soft surface inhaled her inside. It was chilling and comforting. The more she dived deeper, more it relieved her. She didn’t know what she needed to let go. She just knew it was perhaps first time in a very long time when she had left her cozy, warm, comforts and decided to choose a road which wouldn’t be a possibility if she complied for even one more day.
As she reached the other side, she got hold of a branch and climbed it up. When she listened to the sound of her gown getting torn amidst the little thorny twigs, she couldn’t resist a smile. She was there. She wondered if the big bad mountain was still smoky or it was fueled with something else at the midnight. Holding onto the branches and keeping in mind the mosses and cruel stones, she started climbing the mountain. Even though her eyes weren’t a help, yet she marched forward. Getting lost wasn’t in the agenda. More than her face, she had stared at this monster. She could forget herself but not the big dark thing she was climbing upon.
Yet, she was lost. She might have conquered the mountain from one side but she had no idea how did it look like from the other side. While sitting beside a cave, Anokhi assembled few stones and lit up a torch made up of branches and leaves. Looking around, she decided to explore the cave first.
Grasses and moistures disappeared and rough and dry stones appeared and as she went further inside, she was stunned with another green civilization. She kept walking. It was a world inside its own and she wanted to know where it would end. Before long, she discovered her torch wasn’t enough to light up the whole cave and it was something else. Another source of light. Her pace increased. But as she kept walking, she could listen to the sounds before she saw the source of white light coming through a door which was half open and half closed. She thought it was perhaps the other side of the mountain. She quietly approached the door and once she was there, she peeked through the stone entrance whose down side was closed and upper part was open. It was pouring outside. The sound must be coming from the collision of the water from the stone. Even though it was raining, the day was as bright as the Sun. Her gaze ran towards the Sun. A man had held an umbrella on to it. It was such a mesmerizing view that Anokhi didn’t know when did she climbed upon that half-closed stone door and jumped at the other side. But once she was on the other side, Sunlight disappeared and so did her consciousness.

A sacred light that heals the broken soulA glowing light far away from my sight,
seems like it was pleading me
to merge in itself then
I walked towards the light,
it started to sparkle,
I was afraid but craved to know
the secret of its luster,
with every step closer to it,
felt lost in its own shine,
I can see the blurred shadow of something
but when I reached there was nothing but
the light was falling sharp from the sky
and expecting the immersed souls from
the Earth to join the journey of finding themselves then a still voice hailed
my soul to merge into that secret light,
my body was unaware of all of this but
my soul was into the light and then
I felt more alive, free from all pain, grief
just left the pure soul and all the good
memories felt like God just restored my soul to my childhood times.

The Crush
The very first time I saw her in a examination hall. I appeared half an hour before the specific time of examination. As I was waiting for my answer sheet, suddenly I looked around my room and noticed that everyone were present but only one seat was empty and that seat was next to me.
The thorn of time was slowly reaching its destination but the owner of that empty seat was not coming yet. There were only five minutes left until the exam started. Suddenly a sweet voice came into my ears as "excuse me, can you please give me a side?" But I was lost in another world when I saw first time her face.Without replying anything I just kept aside my self and made a way for her.
She had a scruff on her head and light red lipstick on her pulpy lips. Her appearance made me mad as I was little bit confused whether to stare at her or complete my answer sheet.I was thinking just one thing that when the exam would be over and without being late I wanted tell her my feelings. But the destiny didn't support me and I lost her. And from that day onwords I used to spent most of the time remembering her glamorous face which worked as a medicine for this malady heart.

Death
Even in the era of 3G ,4G,
She can't make a video call to her long distance beloved,
But talks to him hours,
Spending her messages to the brightest star of the limitless sky,
Sheds tears or sometimes smiles while remembering the moments spent together
Can death really separate people?!

I was filled with a hope
Had my fill, called it a service
Never wanted to elope
Strange life this is
I tried, I always tried
Tried when I couldn’t try anymore
Tried to love
Till love was there no more
I am trying to finish
My second hand dream
Thoughts coming forcefully
Still can’t establish a theme
I begged you to come
Wanted you to grace my adobe
How wrong can you get
I was better alone
A war was going on
Oh this war of the hardcore
I tried to join but did not like
The side I was fighting for
Now here i am, sad
Sad for you again
But before you ask why
Let me feel your disdain.

Undoubtedly, You!
It is always, undoubtedly, the best decision of your life until you start hearing a distant hassle coming towards you. Then, that best decision of your life begins to flicker away from it's foundation. That distant tumult invokes a fear in your mind that it'll dismantle everything and that your heart will break, yet again. You try to make things right, you put in a lot of efforts to hold onto your decision but you've already lost, lost to yourself. You lost when you gave your mind the control of yourself. You always were the best decision of my life, you will always be. Away from wrecks, and reasons, we have built a castle of our own that is strong enough to withstand unsettlements and unreasonable dilemma's of life. For every outbreak there exists an escape that brings us together, closer than ever. We have never kissed under the mistletoe but we'll still witness a forever of us. I'm never in favor of overlooking some things but it'll never mean a slightest change, or deviancy from the regularity of our togetherness. You're not a handshake that I lose amidst the constraints of my fingerprints, you're not a hug that slowly fades away and mixes with the air around me, you're not a kiss that disperse away in moments. You are the breath that I carry inside me, you are the blood my heart pumps. You are not the moisture on my lips, you are the kiss itself because just like a kiss, you too fill my heart with a magnanimous amount of love and joy. I don't carry your scent, I carry you in me. A coalescence of our souls, an effervescent suffusion of the millennium, you are the smile I am about. So on days when you feel like you're breaking, I want you to close your eyes and hear me whisper all this to you and just one more thing. You are everything I am about, you are the reason itself and yes, undoubtedly, the best decision of my life!

Melancholic Suppression
Everything was perfect,
Or so I perceived
Here comes the mourning of a bereaved.
I told myself,
Let the sleeping dogs lie
But never did I realize,
If you lie down with dogs ,
Then you’ll get fleas
And a dark cave of memories.
Now the worst enemies are the ones,
That used to be cronies
Their cognizance? Mere cacophonies.
It is like what they say,
You never lose a friend
You realize you never had one in the end.
Now I sit amidst the ruins of considerations,
Contemplating the contortion
Why did I fall for this illusion?
Everything was perfect,
Or so I perceived
This was the mourning of a bereaved.

"War within"
I put on my guard to defeat the world of dust.
I put on my armour now covered with rust.
I put on my hate to cover my thoughts,
I put up my collars around my throat.
Now I'll be called the warrior of the world,
The war of the idea, the war of the word.
Fighting for space or fighting for survival?
Fighting for mundane or fighting for revival?
Listen to the God or the greed of empire,
Or give in to the hands of desire?
Believe in the destiny or fortune or so,
Or live in the darkness and live in the fog?
But live with a loss or live with a defeat,
And ready to die with victory and lead.
The heaven is where the war is fought,
The hell is only made out of thoughts.
But one way or another the victory will find you,
The life you live in the end will define you.
Author's note: Again in need of an apt title, any suggestions?

Invaded by a ghost
Knock knock! "Who's there?", I implore.
I hear the creak of floorboards,
I open the door slightly, startled
I feel the chill of the air on my cheeks.
"Is anyone there?", I ask aloud
I get the feeling of pit in my stomach
I step out an arm and look for the nonnative,
Maybe there's something lurking in the house?
"Was that the wind?", I inquired myself
I shut the door and dim the patio lamp
I see a flick of shadows as I lie down
A veil is lifted, forging an esoteric vacuum.
Knocking again! I might go insane,
Maybe it's just my intuitions or my thoughts,
Maybe this knocking is just inside my head?
The agony thrives, as the tones complex.
Fear in my eyes, I stare at the skylight,
Striving it wasn't real, just a nightmare!
Fiddling my senses, my soul cries inside,
My world between living and death evolves into darkness.

My dear
I will teach you the difference
Between the Good and bad touch
I will teach you how people
Change with time
I will educate you gratitude
Not physics and chemistry
I will educate you about humanity
Not English and maths
I won't force you to be traditional
but I will teach you to be kind
I won't force you to apply any creams
But I will teach you beauty lies in the heart
I will teach you what is
Good and bad decision
I will teach you how to take
Self-decision without help
I will teach you to be strong
Even without family
I will teach you to be glad even
When you have nothing
I won't buy you expensive mobiles and dress
But I will allow you to buy books
I won't always show you the taste of
Pizza, donut but I will show the pain of hungry
I will promise you I will be you best mom and even best friend too.

My moon you may still be,
As yours I had once upon a time been!
My long past, mistakes done fast,
Darken your mood, so you need no repast!
You dull your ears and so you don't hear,
My cries for you to come back to me dear!
My regret, darkens your heart amok
As you gaze into it round-the-clock!!
Give me a break and let me be near
Never shall I give you, a chance to shed even one more tear!

Moonlit Reflection
The only thought that crosses my mind,
When this distance has us confined
That maybe it is for us to discern,
How far our love travels, how much we yearn
To taste the elixir of each other’s soul
And to cherish the depthless portrayal made of charcoal,
For we live under the same stars,
United by the constellations of different avatars.
Never trust the moon, they say
She always keeps changing, always has her way,
But her beauty has us all dazed
Isn’t she the epitome of love and grace?
Oh! How many times you declared
You would bring the moon unimpaired,
Now we look at the same moon and reminisce the dedication,
All the times our souls melted to the warmth of passion.
All I want is for you to remember what they say,
Absence is to love, what wind is to fire,
It extinguishes the small,
But inflames the great
And I know deep within my brain,
That these borders are mere fritters going vain
They might separate lands for all we know,
But they will never separate our souls.

Domesday
the night the moon was whole
Deep in to the pit was when i fall
Love, they say - it flows smooth
Love, i say - it is full of bruises
On a half moon, one dark night
Where stars were dead - i lost my knight
The fare well for forever
To never cross roads or talk to one another
Good byes are for the dead not for the living
Painful in my mind goodbyes i avoid
And yet
Goodbye i was told
My love just got lost
Goodbye as a boarder
He became a stranger

Letters of the dead
A letter from her 2
🔸To the beast guy🔸
I woke them up? Really? I just got one question. please tell me the things you will never forgive me for? Do you not get how your past ruined my past, present and even my future. You walked into my life when i was getting a little better, knowing who you were, the things you have done. But still you wowed me with life and happiness. You lifted me off of my feet with all the love. You are the one who showed me life after taking it which is hilarious by the way. you knew you were a time ticking bomb and yet you were gonna take my life once more and you are the one who is not gonna forgive me. i really want to know the things you won't forgive me for.
