Lifeless
Sunshine slipped through the cracks of these walls
Always thought it was the making of a marvel
Someone rang the bell on my ruddy door
Although I was curious, my chained legs didn't agree
These days are nothing but torture to my mind
Only consolation being this small window to the sky
Some days I see my friends, sun, Moon and stars
They bring light to this wretched room and life of mine
But today I'm all alone, nothing in the sky, nothing to be heard
I'm all alone, I'm done and I'm gone.
To be a neighbor in skies and look to the room of mine,
And give company to the next one to be chained to the ground

Writer
I am a writer,
the writer of a thought,
trying to express my feeling,
deep in my heart,
some of them are sad and some are happy,
I see the world through my eyes,
and write to them without lying,
I have a clear vision about this and that,
But sometimes I fail to understand a cat,
I write about lakes, ponds, cities, and countries,
I write about revolution, evolution, and love,
I write about pain,
I write about beyond the heavens,
I can make a mystery,
I can create history,
I make person happy,
I make them feel sad,
I can turn them on,
At the end
I am just a busy writer,
trying to express my feeling,
deep in my heart,
Some of them are sad and some are happy.
and sometimes hard to understand.

My eyes beheld a crystal Rose.
In my palms it lay.
Formed from the tears that made it glitter, reddened with blood from the wounds our love gave me.
I chewed on the thorns as you made sure that the sight of petals was delayed.
You showed me your horns though with my trumpet I adored you in song.
I gave myself to you, I thought you had too.
Nothing can make me doubt that my eyes conjured the two things I loved the most.
I saw your love though it wasn't there...

A dark-skinned girl.
Yeah, I am dark-skinned.
But, it was not always like that.
There was a time when I was unaware.
Of my skin.
"My little princess", Papa called.
I was playing with my sweet little castle.
Days passed,
I was playing in a park,
A woman came to my mother and
asked, "why is she so dark?".
Thenceforth my skin is all with fairness creams.
And now I know that.
Yeah, I am dark-skinned.
