At the end of the day, Trump presided over four of the worst years in history for the American right. Between 2016 and 2021:

- The White percentage of the US declined by ~2%.

- Christianity declined by 5%.

- Big tech censorship went from an unheard of concept to a cold hard reality.

- Public opinion on immigration flipped from the majority wanting it decreased to the majority wanting it increased.

- Conservative opinions about LGBT became much more positive (40% approved of gay marriage in 2016, 50% in 2020).

- Left wing NGOs and media outlets that were failing got second winds (and are now declining again).

Would many of these things still have happened without Trump? Probably. But one thing is for sure, his presidency certainly did nothing to stop any of it. If Trump tries to run again in 2024, I will oppose him.

Big tech censorship could’ve been addressed years ago if we had serious legal organizations mounting serious lawsuits challenging bans. Even American Renaissance was able to win a case in California State Court about their Twitter ban, and their lawsuit was self-funded. The ruling was overturned in Appeals Court, but it shows that Big Tech isn’t invincible. AmRen ultimately voluntarily chose not to appeal, because they believe a group with a stronger case should take the issue all the way to the Supreme Court in the future.

The fact that Big Tech hasn’t been swamped with lawsuits says a lot about the modern legal profession.
