https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-40915808.html There are no "protests" outside abortion killing centres. This Bill is about the pro-aborts needing the rush of lording their win, not anything else.
I knew only too well there wouldn't be back in a day when the people I worked with were oh so brave about what they would do if abortion were ever legalised. I knew then as I know now that political action was the only action that would matter, but apparently it was less than 💯 to say so.
The oh so braves are now campaigning to retain the three day waiting time and will tell you that Aontú's policy of accepting the outcome of the referendum as permanent and "advancing" the cause of euthanasia abortion has the only "realistic" chance of success. No one chained themselves to clinic gates after all...
"The National Party insists that no law should permit the provision of Abortion in Ireland.”
Political action alone can restore the 8th Amendment or it's equivalent. If that seems like a longer road then so did reversing Roe in the US. When all was said and done it was the only road going in the right direction.

The idea that the punishment for what is already a criminal offence should vary according to the motive is absurd. The only relevant motive is the willingness to commit a crime. Maybe if the law acted quicker and more severely with crime this would be more obvious than obfuscating by creating protected categories and prioritising some people over others. We have already witnessed during the Covid Lockdowns with 999 emergency calls that such Garda prioritising can result in criminal behaviour being un-reportable and ignored altogether.
Hate speech on the other hand is a code for suppression of awkward opinions and the attempt to make a crime what couldn’t possibly be classified as a crime otherwise. It makes certain politics criminal and certain politics protected with a nod towards preventing an ill defined “hate”. Considering some of the suggested categories for such protection it can only be designed to suppress debate. Such suppression in practice is not new, but to do so by criminal sanction is quite the Rubicon to cross.
It is salutary to note that leftist groups and NGOs who advocate for such laws have effectively admitted that their opponents would win any such debate and therefore that much of what is supposed to be taken for granted actually stands on very shaky ground when facts are introduced. Such “hate” laws are therefore a sign of State power but not of political persuasion. Much as it may appear to be a show of strength it is a display of weakness, that “progressive” ideas do not stand up under examination. A law to protect or criminalise an opinion is a dangerous move and likely to lead to the opposite outcome than intended. In the meantime innocent people may be punished or imprisoned. How about that for inciting them to “hate”? https://www.irishtimes.com/ireland/2022/07/13/government-to-bring-forward-laws-on-hate-crime-and-hate-speech/

The number of non-Ukrainian refugees has doubled, not including the non-Ukrainians posing as Ukrainian residents. Could this have anything to do with the amnesty for illegal immigrants and a promise of own door accommodation within 4 months?
Do people still believe that this massive influx of people has no effect on the housing market?
Time to put Irish people first. If government ministers want to house refugees let them lead by example and put a few Algerians in their front rooms.

Ireland is falling apart while our politicians commit to vast reconstruction projects in foreign countries. The more failures that accumulate domestically, the grander the macro-goals become. We can't house our own people but we can make grand promises to save the planet. We haggle over the costs of redressing negligent construction practices which affect tens of thousands of native Irish people, but at the same time write blank cheques for infinite asylum seekers. Our politicians sound increasingly like PR reps for a contracting company as it bids for globalist vanity projects. nationalparty.ie/join

Those who posit the freedom of the individual against the power of the State ignore or deliberately misunderstand that it is neither the individual nor the modern State which drives the political agenda. Both are more or less naked before the power of Capital. Here’s the thing, the individual is a political player only insofar as collectively he still has the weight of numbers. The State is entirely in the hands of Capital.
Capital in this context is financial and international. Most of us accept the obvious that Capital is international but that it is almost entirely financial has only been established as incontrovertible fact in the last years. When finance/money Capital called a halt on a whim to almost all productive enterprise in the Western World, productive capital was decidedly secondary. Why worry about ownership and control of the means of production, when ownership and control of the means of producing money is the critical factor, which is not to say it isn’t possible to do both.
If the individual personality of the human being is to be returned to the decisive role in world politics, and even in the direction of our own lives, it can only be done through a vehicle that can make use of the weight of numbers in balance against money. The only vehicle that exists effectively was, is and can only be the apparatus of the modern State. It must be wrested therefore from the hands of Capital by weight of those numbers.
Having done that it would be criminal stupidity to disarm that State, now in the hands and interests of the collective of individuals, in the face of Capital. The State is controlled by or brushed aside by Finance Capital in the modern world. Those who would concern themselves with the freedom of the individual and the primacy of personality can only then desire first, control of the State, and then, a strong State. Only then can the State act as the valid arbiter of the collective which always has power and money which too will always have power, in favour on balance of the collective. The State then is the decisive factor in whether the individual can be “free” and the extent that he can be.
Left alone against the full force of International Finance Capital the individual has charge of nothing. The State in service to the Nation is freedoms final guarantor.

The 'White Nationalist' facade is an inherently Anglo-American ideology that strives for everything short of beauty.
The 'White Nationalist' would like to see Europe similar to the United States in which White people are mishedmashed ethnicities creating only a monster of a nation which struggles to find a concrete racial footing, bar the fact they are White.
Europe in of itself is beautiful with the multitudes of different European ethnicities occupying each and every territory and land.
Ireland is a part of that beautiful continent, it is our home and we will not surrender it to foreigners be it from across the sea or the other ends of the earth.
