You should have some idea about the World Heritage Sites of India.

Keep in mind that there are in total 43 WHS in India. The last 3 sites added to the list are very important for this year's exam. I am listing them below.

41st (2023) -- Santiniketan (West Bengal)
42nd (2023) -- Sacred Assemble of Hoyasalas (Karnataka)
43rd (2024) -- Moidams-the mound burial system of Ahom Dynasty (Assam)

Very important. Should have them on your fingertips.

Also, notice that *marked sites are recognized by the UNESCOs Man & Biosphere Reserve Programme.

Easy way to remember : Firstly remember all the 18 sites. 6 of them are not recognized by UNESCO. (3 Eastern Most sites, The western most site & The Northern Most Sites are 5 of them. So you can remember that sites that are on the extreme end are not a part of UNESCO.

Additionally, Seshachalam is also not recognized by UNESCO.
