Scotland under the SNP, rather than being the "progressive" modern nation that they constantly tell us it is, appears to be heading back to medieval times with people treating themselves as they cannot get medical help.
A new poll of Scots found that many people who had failed to get a GP appointment had resorted to DIY medicine, either carrying out medical procedures themselves or getting someone to do it for them. 24% had self-prescribed medicines, either getting them from the Internet or pharmacies, 31% of people who had tried and failed to get a GP appointment gave up completely and 19% went to A&E, putting further stress on an already failing service.
Scotland is already 1,000 GPs short of the minimum number it requires. The SNP talk and talk about improving the health service but achieve nothing. Yusaf needs to go and not be given a position of responsibility again.
The NHS needs reform and a massive increase in staff now.

When the pub company Greene King decided to rename the Black Bitch pub in Linlithgow as part of what they called their commitment to be an "anti-racist" company, the locals weren't happy.
Hundreds protested against the stupid name change, with even the council trying to stop it, but Greene King ignored all this and went to the Scottish Government to push it through. So the Black Bitch became the Willow Tree.
The locals, it appears, are not laying down to this political correctness gone mad and large companies riding roughshod over the wishes of local communities and are fighting back. It's wonderful to see this small act of community resistance.

There are many in the nationalist movement who advocate moving to the remote parts of the UK to experience what they hope will be an escape from the clown world around us.
But as this shows it now appears that clown world and the mental illness of transgenderism have reached all corners of our nation.
Merkinch Primary in the Inverness area not only made their sports day non-binary, but are now also questioning 5-year-olds if they are gay or transgender and how they feel about people that are - terms that a 5-year-old has no need to be asked about or even know what they mean.
Teachers who would expose our kids to this should have their ability to teach removed.
As can be seen, running to the hills will not save us. The mental illness of clown world has reached every corner of our nation. We need to stand and fight back against this agenda that is being pushed on our people. Join us.

Foysal Choudray, who was not born in Scotland, is one of many Labour MSPs pushing for millions of Taxpayers money to he spent on a museum of slavery and colonialism and projects highlighting how ethnic "Scots" are still impacted by colonialism and slavery.
When the Gender recognition Bill was passed recently only two Labour MSPs voted against it.
Labour used to be seen as the defender of the indigenous working person. Now it appears that Labour is more interested in trans, LGB, refugee and immigrant "rights" than improving the life of indigenous Scots.
The Scottish political landscape needs a new strong real Nationalist party that fights only for the indigenous population. Hopefully this will come to pass soon as the current rogues gallery of politicians at Holyrood are betraying our people.

The journalist who wrote this is, like many in the elites of our nation, of the opinion that you can basically self-identify as a Scot. In his opinion you just have to set foot in the country and that is you a Scot (or a "New Scot" as they would say).
But in reality there is more to being a true Scot that just calling yourself one, sticking on a kilt now and then and living here.
In many people's view, being born here is not enough either. After all, what really links us to this land is history and blood. The history of our families, dating back not just decades but centuries, and the blood that our forebears shed to build and defend this nation of ours. Our forebears sacrificed and struggled to create this country. They gave their all, unlike many of these so-called "New Scots" who come to take or just pass through on their way to the next opportunity.
That is the test of a being a "true" Scot.

It would be much better if this heavily flawed piece of legislation was scrapped altogether.
It severely limits freedom of speech in Scotland and leaves open many flaws including the high chance of malicious reporting and the persecution of the indigenous population.
The SNP are yet again forcing legislation on the Scottish people that the vast majority of the population oppose.

The absolute state of the Scottish education system.
Aberdeen University has put out trigger warning not only on Peter Pan but also on such classics as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the Scottish classic that many of us did in school Sunset Song, Treasure Island and even The Railway Children.
In years gone past these books and the films of them were enjoyed by very young children but it seems now that undergraduates in their 20s may be negatively Impacted by them.
One has to wonder what kind of people tutor these courses and what type of graduates we are producing. A generation of adults that are so sensitive that children's literature may harm them. What future for our nation if these people are going to be the future leaders, educators etc.
Education in Scotland from primary through to post graduate level needs to be reformed, tutors who believe these books are damaging need to be replaced with sensible educators.

Everyone living in or around Glasgow knows of the famous Four Corners, and likely spent time hidng from the rain under the Heilanman's Umbrella. This area now - outside Jamaica Street McDonald's - has become a target for foreign men looking to groom our children.
A former police officer reported being briefed "intelligence from elsewhere" indicated that "males from Afghanistan" were "using it as a base" to exploit children in care. This is after a large gang of 55 asylum seekers from the Kurdish, Afghani, Egyptian, Moroccan, Turkish, Pakistani and Iraqi communities were taken down in 2020 for preying on young girls, with at least 44 confirmed victims having been abused by large numbers of these men.
This will become more common as our anti-White government continues to import thousands of migrants from incompatible cultures, putting them up in hotels and forcing them into our communities.

The influential Policy Exchange think tank is recommending that the Westminster government block the SNP Gender Recognition Bill.
The think tank says that the legislation will redefine the meaning of “sex” under the Equality Act, with implications for single-sex spaces, associations and schools, as well as women-only shortlists and scholarships. The exchange went on to say that the legislation makes “a very significant change to the operation of the Equality Act in Scotland”, adding: “The Equality Act is reserved to Westminster and so the Scottish Parliament is not permitted to change its operation in Scotland".
The Westminster government has a moral duty to block this legislation, not just because of its effects on the Equality Act but also for the danger that it poses to women and children. It is detrimental to women and children's physical safety and physical and mental health.
The elected members in Holyrood who supported this legislation need removed from their positions in future elections.

On this day in 614 Kentigern also know as St mungo died and was buried in the church he founded in Glasgow that would later become Glasgow Cathedral.
Kentigern, was a missionary in the Brittonic Kingdom of Strathclyde in the late sixth century, and the founder and patron saint of the city of Glasgow.
Mungo began his missionary work on the Clyde, on the site of modern Glasgow. He built his church across the water from an extinct volcano, next to the Molendinar Burn, where the present medieval cathedral now stands. For years, he laboured in the district, living a most austere life in a small cell and making many converts by his holy example and his preaching.
A strong anti-Christian movement in Strathclyde, headed by King Morken, compelled Mungo to leave the district, and he retired to Wales. While there, he undertook a pilgrimage to Rome. However, the new King of Strathclyde, Riderch Hael, invited Mungo to return to his kingdom.

After their ludicrous trigger warnings about books that have been children's favourites for decades, they are now putting a trigger warning on the death of a puppet in a well known Russian ballet.
In Petrushka a trio of puppets are brought to life and one is later murdered. It also warns that one of the puppets who is a "Moor" may offend. The ballet has been views by millions since 1911 without anyone reporting any psychological damage but Aberdeen obviously worries about their poor students.
Aberdeen, like many other universities, are infantalising their students and not preparing them for the real world. Universities are now indoctrination centres and are attacking free speech.
Our children's futures are under threat from the woke administrators and lecturers and they need to be rooted out. The further education sector needs reform.
