The Scottish Government is setting up a fund to help businesses bring in what they call "foreign skilled workers".
The SNP/Green alliance claims that the only way to assure the growth of Scotland's economy is to bring in a constant flow of foreign workers.
At a time when budgets are being cut all round, is this really the time to be spending money bringing in yet more foreigners?
If we really want to grow the economy, we should be concentrating on getting Scots back into work, incentivising people to come off benefits and make work pay, build a skill base amongst the indigenous Scots, especially the young and unemployed, and help small and medium businesses to expand.
Previous schemes to attract so-called "skilled workers" have seen the country flooded with people who are anything but highly skilled. This is just another part of the SNP's plan to flood the country with immigrants, not to help our economy or our people's future.

The SNP administration of Glasgow has returned £165,764 in unspent community mental health funding this year. In the year April 2021 to April 2022, it sent an even higher amount of £174,514 from the community mental health budget back to Holyrood.
Given that mental health services across Scotland are in crisis, especially youth services, this is an unacceptable situation. The SNP controlled council failed to recruit staff and get projects off the ground yet again showing how inefficient they are.
The money should not have been returned to Holyrood, but instead, if the council can not utilise it effectively, it will be handed to other mental health services who can to help ease the cities mental health crisis.
The council has also not spent £44 million in covid funding, which will also now be lost. Anyone who lives in or visits Glasgow can see the desperate need for investment in the city. The council is failing Glaswegians.
Nationalists need to get involved in local politics to address these failures.

Like nearly all public services in Scotland. Police Scotland is heading into a crisis of both manning and funding.
1029 officers left the service in the last year alone at a time when Scotland already had its lowest number of Police officers since 2008, with only 16,570 officers nationwide. 700 below the SNPs own recommended number of office. The funding th was announced in the latest budget is seen as not enough to cover all the needs of the service and leaves the Police with hard choices to make on its future.
If Police weren't having their time wasted by politicians forcing them to investigate Internet "hate speech" and the non existant right-wing terror threat, more resources would be available to deal with real crime. Their hands are also tied by "progressive" political agendas pushed on them, making it impossible to investigate crime committed by non whites and effectively deal with youth crime.
Policing and the courts have become yet another victim of the SNP/Green mismanagement and "woke" agendas.

Leaders Scotland, the organisation that represents headteachers in Scotland, has warned that class sizes are set to rise and there will be fewer options in subjects due to the underfunding of the education sector.
COSLA asked for £1 billion in extra cash for councils, who run the school education system. But in reality the councils are only seeing an uplift of £71 million from funds allocated to them in the SNPs latest budget.

In Sturgeon's woke Scotland, children as young as 15 will be able to start the process of gender transitioning after MSPs rejected pleas to exclude children from the new Gender Reform Bill going through Holyrood just now.
Shona Robison, a close ally of Sturgeon who is steering the bill through Holyrood, confirmed that time spent living in an “acquired gender” as a 15-year-old would count towards a six-month minimum time period required by the legislation. MSPs also voted down an attempt to prevent sex offenders from exploiting the new bill.
87 MSPs voted to block the proposed amendments and each of these MSPs should be ashamed of themselves. The people of Scotland should work to vote these people out of power as they are a danger to the women and children of our nation.

On this day in 1988 the Lockerbie disaster happened when Pan Am flight 103 exploded and crashed into the town of Lockerbie in Dumfries and Galloway. All 259 people on board the plane and 11 on the ground were killed in the disaster
Pan Am Flight 103 was a regularly scheduled Pan Am transatlantic flight from Frankfurt to Detroit via a stopover in London and another in New York City. The transatlantic leg of the route was operated by Clipper Maid of the Seas, a Boeing 747-121 registered N739PA. Shortly after 19:00 on 21 December 1988, while the aircraft was in flight over the Scottish town of Lockerbie, it was destroyed by a bomb that had been planted on board, killing all 243 passengers and 16 crew in what became known as the Lockerbie bombing Large sections of the aircraft crashed in a residential street in Lockerbie, killing 11 residents. With a total of 270 fatalities, it is the deadliest terrorist attack in the history of the United Kingdom, as well as its deadliest aviation disaster.[2]

Scotland's failing health minister Yousaf spent his time attending the vote in favour dangerous gender recognition Bill rather than meeting with nursing unions to try to head off a nursing strike in Scotland.
Yousaf obviously has his priorities wrong where he thinks it's more Important to vote in favour of a Bill to push Scotland further into degeneracy than to arrange a good deal for hard working nurses and protect patients.
Yousaf should go, the health service has seen nothing but decline under his stewardship.
Scottish nurses deserve not only a better pay deal but also better conditions and more staffing to take the pressure off them. The NHS needs a complete overhaul to make it fit for the future, but it appears the SNP don't care and would rather push their woke agenda.
Scotland needs change, be part of that change. Join us to fight for a better future for the indigenous people of Scotland.

On this day in 1688 James VII and II went into exile in France after a mainly bloodless coup by leading members of the English political class who had invited William of Orange, his son in law, to take the throne.
When William landed in Brixham on 5 November 1688, James's army deserted and he went into exile in France on 23 December. In February 1689, a special Convention Parliament held that James had "vacated" the English throne and installed William and Mary as joint monarchs, thereby establishing the principle that sovereignty derived from Parliament, not birth. James landed in Ireland on 14 March 1689 in an attempt to recover his kingdoms, but, despite a simultaneous rising in Scotland, in April a Scottish Convention followed that of England, both finding that James had "forfeited" the throne and offered it to William and Mary. After his defeat at the Battle of the Boyne in July 1690, James returned to France, where he spent the rest of his life in exile at Saint-Germain, protected by Louis XIV.

Gradys victim received no support from the SNP who ostracised him and ambushed him into having a meeting with Grady and Blackford to try and get him to withdraw the Complaint. The SNP including Sturgeon and Blackford told SNP MP's and MSP's that they had to rally round and defend Grady rather than the victim.
The SNP has proven to be a party of degenerates, sexual harrasers , fraudsters and other unsavoury character and are not fit to represent the people of Scotland.

The SNP have dropped all funding for the Scottish men's shed movement.
The men's shed movement is vital for the health and mental health of many Scottish men. They are especially good for that much maligned breed the white middle aged man. Many middle aged and older men struggle after retirement,bereavement or redundancy. They need a place that is a men only space to socialse with other men and Learn new skills or hobbles.
The SNP has shown yet again its disdain for the men of Scotland. While they can find millions for their so called foreign embassies and millions more to support LGBT groups, transgender, refugee and ethnic minority groups. They say they cannot even afford a few tens of thousands of pounds for this vital service for men.
