Barrhead councillor Paul Aitken slithers out of his cave to have his sanctioned monthly five minutes of fame.

Afternoon all,
Over the coming weeks all of my time is going to be dedicated for my final court case. I have a lot of work to do and I keep getting distracted online.
That being said, I’ve closed my group down until May. Once my case is sorted and I’ve got a decision I’ll be re opening the group.

I’m not leaving activism or quitting, I’m simply focusing my mind and time on me and my family for the next month.

The name Portree or Port Righ, King’s Port in Gaelic, (as on the road signs) is popularly thought to derive from a visit by King James V (of Scotland) in 1540, but the area around the harbour was called Portree or Portray long before the arrival of the king. Its name really comes from the Gaelic for Port on the Slope.
