As anyone who has tried to get a GP appointment in Scotland will know, GP surgeries are under immense strain and many GPs are starting to retire, so the situation can only get worse.
Under the SNP the NHS has been on a downward spiral for years and this has to stop. To have a successful nation we need a well funded, managed, staffed and equipped health service and that is not what we have today. The people of Scotland are being treated to a third-class health service.

The SNP/Green alliance faces a budget overspend this year, which could trigger a cash clawback by the treasury next year, worsening the Scottish budget position in the following year.
The SNP have been warned for years that they are setting the wrong budget priorities and need to speed up the reform of the public sector to create sustainable quality services for the public.
Sturgeon has also been found to be lying about the SNP Government not receiving extra cash from Westminster.
The SNP/Green alliance cannot be trusted to manage Scotland's finances or provide secure good quality services to the public. The alliance needs to go and a more financially literate and reforming adminstration put in place.

On November the 19th 1600 King Charles the first was born at Dunfermline Palace in Fife.
The second son of King James VI of Scotland and Anne of Denmark. At a Protestant ceremony in the Chapel Royal of Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh on 23 December 1600, he was baptised by David Lindsay, Bishop of Ross, and created Duke of Albany, the traditional title of the second son of the king of Scotland, with the subsidiary titles of Marquess of Ormond, Earl of Ross and Lord Ardmannoch.
Charles would later fall out with the English Parliament leading to the English Civil War and his execution in Whitehall, London on the 30th January 1649.

Aberdeen appears to have become a major centre for refugees. There are 1000 Ukrainians at ten centres across Aberdeen, 170 Afghans in hotels and at least 30 Syrian families in the city, amongst others.
Recently the Scottish Government spent £50 million on providing housing for Ukrainian refugees, £6 million of which went to Aberdeen to refurbish 500 homes for the exclusive use of the refugees. Now Aberdeen wants more money to refurbish or build homes for the Afghans in the hotels. Meanwhile, over 5000 locals remain on ever lengthening housing lists.
The Scottish Government and local councils are prepared to spend tens of millions on housing incomers while tens of thousands of the indigenous population wait on lists for social housing, often for years.
The Scottish Government needs to put the indigenous population first before "migrants" and "refugees". We should not be housing all-comers from every corner of world while our own people are homeless.

The SNP/Green alliance has been promising a green revolution "jobs bonanza" for years now. They have claimed that their so-called "green revolution" will create 130,000 jobs for Scots.
This has never happened and, in fact, the number of jobs in renewable energy has been declining rather than increasing. The number of jobs fell from 24,000 in 2016 to 20,500 in 2020.
To add insult to injury, with yet more SNP promises broken, those actually working in the renewable industry are seeing their jobs replaced by cheap labour from abroad
There needs to be a change in the law to stop this practice but the SNP/Green alliance seem unconcerned by this and are putting no pressure for changes to the law. Last year an estimated 250 homeless people died in Scotland, this is a completely unacceptable situation.
We are able to find hotels and homes for incomers but not our own it seems. In the past few years most of the public hostels have been closed down by councils. Leaving In many cases nowhere for many people to go.

On Monday 28 November MPs will debate an e-petition relating to ‘abortion rights’ in the House of Commons. The petition seeks to include a ‘right’ to abortion in the Bill of Rights Bill.
But this would go far beyond just ‘decriminalising’ women, instead resulting in introducing abortion on demand, for any reason (including sex-selective abortion), up until birth.

A rare Pictish stone was found near Forfar. Pictish stones are extremely rare with only around 200 thought to be in existence .
The Picts were a mysterious tribe as they left no written records except for the carved picture stones . They were the descendents of the tribes that had opposed the Roman invasion and driven the Romans out of Scotland.
The pictures on the stone ate thought to depict scenes of the 7th Century Battle of Nechtansmere. A battle that was pivotal in the creation of the country of Scotland as we know it .
The battle was fought betweenthe Picts, led by King Bridei Mac Bili, and the Northumbrians, led by King Ecgfrith, on 20 May 685. The Pictish victory marked their independence from Northumbria, who never regained their dominance in the north. This led to the end of the northward expansion of the Anglo Saxon kingdons and the ongoing independence of Scottish lands.

In a world gone mad with political correctness and racial hysteria it is good to see a tribunal make a fair decision.
Quitongo, it seems, listened to a voice message sent to someone else by a third party claiming that a supporter had racially abused Quitongo during a game. The actual abuse was not on the message but was hearsay by the third person who sent the message to the person who played it to Quitongo... all very clear, I hope.
The tribunal ruled - amazingly, given some rulings that have come out in past years - that the club could not be held responsible for the alleged abuse by the supporter. A very fair decision. Quitongo it seems was devastated by this decision and by the abuse that he hadn't actually heard, if it happened at all. Quitongo had been let go by the club that he had the claim against, an obvious use of the race card yet again by a unhappy ex-employee.
Hopefully we will see more sensible rulings like this in the future.

Every Primary child in the Borders is to be given a book entitled "Neeps and tatties" about two different waring vegetable groups. The book is the latest attempt to brainwash our pre school and school age children into accepting the mass influx of outsiders.
Our schools should be teaching our kids to be proud of who they are, the history of our people and how our ancestors built this nation without the aid of outsiders. Yes, they should be tolerant of those who are different but no they should not accept that they have as much right to this land as we do.
Nationalists should if they can remove their children from the brainwashing of the state school system. If they cannot they should make sure that their children are taught about our culture, our history and how we and only we have a right to reside in our ancestral lands .

On this day the Battle of Rullion Green took place on 28 November 1666, near the Pentland Hills, in Midlothian, Scotland. It was the only significant battle of the Pentland Rising, a brief revolt by Covenanter dissidents against the Scottish government.
Sparked by opposition to the restoration of episcopalianism in the Church of Scotland, a Covenanter army under Colonel James Wallace was defeated by a government force led by Tam Dalyell of the Binns.
While casualties were relatively light, between 40 to 50 Covenanters were killed and up to 85 prisoners taken, many of whom were alleged to have been tortured. 36 were executed and others transported to Barbados, while unrest continued over the next two decades, culminating in the extended period of repression from 1679 to 1688 known as The Killing Time.

The Scottish Government appears to have bungled yet again while one of our fellow Celtic nations has forged ahead with plans for a public-owned renewable energy company.
Wales has set up a such a company, that will develop windfalls on state owned properties then sell the energy on. Prices will be kept low for Welsh residents and any profits will be reinvested in insulating and upgrading homes and creating renewable energy jobs in Wales.
The SNP did spend £500,000 on a study of such a scheme but then scrapped the whole thing and sold rights to develop wind and solar farms to private companies at knockdown prices.
Scotland needs to have its own energy security guaranteed and at this time such a scheme would have brought relief to tens of thousands of households facing soaring energy bills. Yet again the SNP let the people of Scotland down.
Such a scheme would have been easy for the SNP to fund and set up but it seems they have no interest in such an idea.

The UN’s special rapporteur on violence against women and girls has criticised the Scottish Government for not listening to female victims of violence during consultations for the Gender Recognition Reform Bill.
Now Sturgeon is being urged to cancel her plans to push forward with the bill. There is mounting opposition from many sectors but Sturgeon seems determined that she will push through this twisted bill that she claims will make Scotland the most progressive nation in Europe.
Progress is not always a good thing, especially when you are dealing with the lives of people who most likely have serious unexplored mental health issues, particularly children, who the bill will affect massively.
This bill needs to be stopped and Sturgeon taken to task for her promotion of it.
