The political establishment yet again shows its hypocrisy.
Starmer was surrounded by a mob berating him, not so much it seems about Savile but about his support for Covid restrictions. The establishment worries about his safety as they say he has been branded by opponents with words that could lead to him being attacked. The very same establishment that is quick to brand anyone to the right of centre, and even some that are close to the centre, as "Nazis", "scum", "knuckle draggers", etc, and which calls blatantly at times for them to be attacked.
They are happy for anyone asking questions about the way our nation is run and about the future our people to be hounded, attacked, jailed and made unemployable, but when it comes to their own it's a different matter.

Recent investigation has shown that NHS Tayside's cancer crisis could have been avoided if the health board had publicly supported doctors criticised by a report.
A report from three years ago stated that doctors were giving incorrect chemotherapy dosages. However, later investigation found that the dosages could not have caused any deaths.
After this report, patients requiring chemotherapy were forced to travel to Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow to receive treatment.
What a mess this has caused. Sadly, the most vulnerable have had to pay the price for more NHS failures. This country needs big change.

This week the Scots took part in the Battle of the Herrings in France. The battle was part of the 100 years war between England and France. The Scots fought on the French side. The Scots had ,had a strong contingent of troops and nobles present in the French city of Orleans when it was besieged by the English. Further reinforcements of 1000 Scots arrived later under Sir John Stewart of Darnley.
The battle occurred when the French and Scots attempted to intercept the English resupply column . The English seeing the approaching Scots and French drew up their wagons in a defensive position.
The 400 Scots grew impatient and launched an attack on the English lines. The lightly armoured Scots suffered heavy casualties from the English archers and the French cavalry attempts to aid them were driven off by the archers
Seeing that the French infantry were slow to come to the Scots aid ,the English counterattacked the Scots/French force routing them. Many Scots including John Stewart and his brother William died

We seem to see an unending stream of hypocrisy from the SNP when it comes to climate change. Not so long ago Sturgeon declared a climate emergency in Scotland and promised to do everything possible to fight climate change and make Scotland a "green champion".
Now we see the SNP spending over Β£4 million on energy-guzzling electronic advertising boards including, ironically, Β£275,000 on displaying ads on them promoting green issues and carbon neutrality.
The SNP have also been slow to close down the fossil fuel industry in Scotland, a major part of their budget of course. Even though they have talked about the need to transition away from fossil fuels many times.
We need urgent action to tackle the environmental issues facing our beautiful country, not words, though Sturgeon and her cronies seem more interested in promoting immigration and LGBTQ rights than taking action to save our environment and make our country a better place for our people.
Time for an alternative, a Patriotic Alternative.

The UK's immigration policies are putting our children at risk. Our country is being flooded with immigrants who commit acts of violence and other criminal actions but are allowed to remain in this country.
A Scots 14-year-old was beaten to the ground and robbed by Youcef Boutoubane, a man who had already been jailed a year earlier for attacking another man in Glasgow and for his involvement in the robbery of a shopkeeper.
When will we see these foreign criminals removed from our country and a stop to the mass immigration that brings them in?
Our people need a government that will get tough on foreign criminals and immigration. We hear much talk from the mainstream parties but their actions show their intentions are either just words, are not enough, or in many cases they actually want more immigration rather than less. The so-called "rights" of immigrants and foreign criminals are put before the rights and safety of our people over and over.
Time to remove these traitors and let real patriots govern.

On this day in 1567 Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley was murdered at Kirk o Fields, Edinburgh.
Darnley was an English nobleman who was the second husband of Mary, Queen of Scots and the father of James VI of Scotland and I of England. Through his parents he had claims to both the Scottish and English thrones, and from his marriage in 1565 he was king consort of Scotland .He was the father of James VI of Scotland,I of England.
Darnley had become very unpopular with most of the Scottish establishment and on the night of the 10th of February his lodgings were ripped apart by an explosion.his body and that of his servant were found nearby, apparently having been strangled rather than killed in the explosion. Suspicion was placed upon Queen Mary and the Earl of Bothwell, whom Mary went on to marry three months after Darnley's murder. Bothwell was indicted for treason and acquitted, but six of his servants and acquaintances were subsequently arrested, tried, and executed for the crime.

New homes have been built on Staffin, Skye to encourage families to move to the Island due to depopulation.
These are the first new homes to built on Staffin in 23 years, managing to attract six new families to the Isle. Skye has been facing depopulation issues for years due to many families moving away to the mainland.
Skye would not be facing these issues if it weren't for the vicious anti-White agenda attacking our people. If Scottish families and local communities were promoted again, Skye would have no need for newcomers.

On this day in 1893 the author and poet Nan Shepherd was born in Cults, Aberdeenshire. She set her novels in the North East of Scotland and also wrote about the Cairngorms.
In 1928 she published The Quarry Wood. Written in Scots and set in a north-eastern community, it tells the story of a young woman's pursuit of a university education. Comparisons with Lewis Grassic Gibbon's Sunset Song, written four years later, are inevitable, but Shepherd's book is perhaps more realistic in tone and setting. Two more novels followed: The Weatherhouse in 1930 and A Pass in the Grampians in 1933. All three were highly acclaimed at the time, both in the UK and in the USA, and while their popularity since has ebbed and flowed, they remain among the classics of 20th century Scottish literature.
A collection of poetry, In the Cairngorms, appeared in 1934, in which she revealed her love of the mountains. This theme continued in her non-fiction work Living Mountain: Celebration of the Cairngorm Mountains of Scotland.

Many Scottish families are struggling after the crushing lockdowns put in place by the SNP. How can Scots be expected to pay rising prices when many of us were not even making a steady income?
Rather than forcing us to rely on handouts, the Scottish government should be promoting Scottish jobs for Scottish people, rather than for foreigners.

A Fife councillor - and Head of Housing for Fife Council - seems more concerned about the plight of foreign "refugees" than the indigenous population that he is supposed to represent and make life better for.
John Mills is complaining that the "refugees" are stuck in hotel accommodation rather than being quickly moved into council housing. I am sure that there are many people in Fife who would love to be in hotel accommodation with paid meals, free WiFi etc, as Fife received 2622 homeless applications from Scots in 2019/20 - one of the highest numbers of any council in Scotland.
Fife Council took in 86 "Afgan refugees" last year, while its own people struggle to even get a reply from the council housing department and many sit for years on housing lists with no hope for being given a home of their own.
It's time Mills and many other politicians in Scotland worried more about their own people and less about people they are Importing from abroad. Our people should come first, always.

Residents in Glasgow have said that public transport is now "the worst it's ever been" after First Bus suspended night routes in Glasgow.
First Bus has suffered from staff shortages after the lockdowns enforced by the SNP. Now with no night buses, many residents fear they won't get home safely.
This is disgraceful, particularly in a dangerous, 'multicultural' city like Glasgow. Scottish men and women have the right to travel home without fear.

It is unbelievable that we should see this scene in the middle of a Scottish city in the 21st century. A man living in a tent in a doorway with a sign on it begging people not to damage it as it is his only home. This is the disgraceful state of affairs that the politicians in Holyrood have allowed to come about.
With the rising cost of living we are likely to see even more people become homeless or in danger of being so. Meanwhile, our politicians worry about foreign immigrants being stuck for too long in paid-for warm hotels with three free meals a day before being given public housing. They seem to care very little about Scots like this man, living in a thin tent on a Glasgow street in freeing temperatures
When will the Scottish political elite put our people first? When will they act to make sure our people are not on the verge of homelessness or living in freezing homes they are scared to heat due to rising fuel costs?
We need an alternative to the politicians. We have now a Patriotic Alternative.

Some of the Scottish islands are now starting to see shortages of basic goods in island shops caused by the ongoing ferry debacle.
The situation with Scotland's ferry service is just another example of the incompetence of the SNP government.
Millions have been wasted on ferries that are years overdue and possibly not even fit for purpose. The ferries that are still in service are old and spend more time out of service than in it. As usual the Scottish government try to shift the blame to others but it is their responsibility.
Recently the SNP have stated they want to increase the number of people living in rural Scotland, especially our more remote islands. But if they cannot even get a simple thing right like being able to run an efficent ferry service, how can we ever hope to see the population and prosperity of our islands grow again?
Once again the SNP have let our people down. It's time for them to go.

On this day in 1692 the Glencoe Massacre took place. At least 30 members of the Clan McDonald were killed by Goverment forces, allegedly for failing to swear allegiance to the new Monarchs William III and Mary II.
Clan Chief Alastair MacDonald arrived at Fort William on 31 December 1691, only to find he should have gone instead to Inveraray to take his oath. He eventually got there five days late.
On 1 February, two companies, some 130 men, were moved south from Fort William and billeted with the MacDonalds. Orders arrived on 12 February to carry out the massacre. This was to happen at 5am the following morning, 13 February.
The start of the massacre was signalled by a fire lit on what is now called Signal Rock at 5am.
The massacre was ineptly carried out. Some 38 MacDonalds were killed by the troops, but the sound of the initial gunfire provide ample warning to most, who escaped into the winter mountains. An unknown number, perhaps 70 plus subsequently died from exposure.

The SNP have spent over Β£40,000 in the last few years on short let Airbnb accommodation.
In Edinburgh alone there are over 480 listings online for such accommodation. That's 480 properties that have been taken out of potential long term lets to local residents in a city where, in 2019/20, 3491 homeless applications were made. The picture is similar across the country with some areas showing one listing for every four properties.
Most of the properties have no planning consent either, with only one out of a sample of 359 having permission, making the renting out in this manner illegal.
The government-linked Visit Scotland has a tie with Airbnb promoting these lets.
Scotland is facing a massive housing crisis but instead of banning these short lets the SNP government is using and promoting them. Profit before people seems to be what the SNP cares about.

Today the brave lads of PA Scotland battled against the weather to mark an historic event for Patriotic Alternative, the first event organised to help promote Patriotic Alternativeβs local campaigner Tony Girling for north Clackmannanshire.
This event is a turning point in PA's history, once nothing more than an internet based community, through hard work, discipline and dedication it has forged itself into the real world and is now taking its first steps towards political action.
The event today shows PA in all of its glory by bringing together all of its Scottish branches and focusing on one single area to help improve the lives of our people. We are setting a new example to the people within our nation and declaring openly to the world that we are just getting started.
