You know its cold, windy and wet when the Highlanders are wrapped up.
Four Highlands & Islands Branch activists met up for a bit of fitness and comradeship. The well named Meall Fuar-mhonaidh (Cold Mountain in English), near Drumnadrochit treated the team to the typical four seasons in one day.
As you can see in the pictures, our team had to grip the flag and banner tight as the wind was pretty fierce up at the top. They still had fun and vowed to make these social hikes a regular occurrence for the branch.

Today the Mid Scotland & Fife team delivered over 600 leaflets in the town of Tillicoultry and then did a banner drop in front of the old town hall.
The hall is a beautiful building that shows what our ancestors were capable of creating. Sadly it is now left half-destroyed and abandoned. It's beauty still surpasses that of surrounding structures,
Along the way, the volunteers came across some stickers that show us that even in these small towns the proud people of Scotland are still refusing to submit to the tyrannical yoke around our necks.

On this day in 1918 the German high seas fleet surrendered to allied naval forces in the Firth of Forth.
70 German ships under Rear Admiral Reuter were met in the North Sea by HMS Cardiff which then led them into the Firth of Forth. In the Firth they were met by 370 ships of the British Grand Fleet and allied ships. Admiral David Beatty of the Grand Fleet accepted their surrender and signalled them that at sundown the German flag would be hauled and not raised again.
The German ships were then led north to Scapa Flow in the Orkneys. They were to be interred there with their guns disabled while the Versailles peace treaty was negotiated.
The ships remained at Scapa Flow until 1919. On the 21st of June 1919 Admiral Reuter, fearing the British were about to seize the ships, sent the message to all the ships to scuttle themselves.
52 of the 74 Ships that had eventually been intered at Scapa Flow were sunk. Over the years many were salvaged but some remain as popular diving sites in deeper water.

Mood of the Nation | #44 | The Liverpool Woman's Hospital Bombing
This afternoon a small group of West of Scotland activists spent time in both Charleston and Glenburn, Paisley distributing over 500 of our popular 'No Vaccine Passport' leaflets.
The team spoke to several people on their drive ways who were happy to see the team standing up for freedom. There was a lot of concern that the tyrannical Scottish Government were planning to extend the passports to the leisure and hospitality industries.

Today, some of the fine lads of the Mid Scotland & Fife Branch braved the elements to head up the Ochil Hills.
They visited Lossburn Reservoir and displayed their 'We Will Not Be Replaced' banner.
It was the perfect location for their savoury picnic and the sun even peeked out for a moment or two, which highlighted the stunning location even more.

On this day in 1896 the tea clipper Cutty Sark was launched at the Scott and Linton shipyard in Dumbarton. The Cutty Sark was constructed for the Jock Willis shipping line. The ship was one of the last tea clippers constructed.
She sailed on the China tea trade for a few years but was soon replaced by steamships on this route. After that she sailed on the wool routes from Australia to Great Britain, where she held the speed record for many years before steamships also took over this route. After that, she was sold to a Portuguese company and renamed the Ferreira and sailed under that name for many years, becoming the last clipper still working in 1922. She then served as a cadet ship in Falmouth for many years after that.
In 1953 she was given to the Cutty Sark Preservation Trust and became a museum ship at Greenwich in London, where she still is today.

Though not a fan of JK Rowling, one can have some sympathy with her. She has become a victim of the liberal mob who claim to be fighting for equality and to make a better world.
But then if anyone disagrees with them or dares to question their twisted ideology - whether it is open borders, trans rights or any other of the long list of weird things they support - they threaten, bully and try to ostracise any dissenters.
You can only have so much sympathy for a celebrity such as Rowling, as people like her are the funders and enablers of the mob. The government does nothing to push back against them and lets them carry out their intimidation tactics without any repercussions.
It is us, the nationalist community who have to take this mob on and expose them for what they are. We need to expose their vile plans for our children. If it is not us who will stand up for the normal people of the UK, then who will? It is us nationalists who will build a better world, not these so-called progressives.

On this day in 1654, George Watson was born in Edinburgh. Watson was responsible for the funding of George Watson's College and George Heriot's School. He had been the first chief accountant of the Bank of Scotland.
Watson bequeathed in his will a generous sum for the Merchant Company of Edinburgh, with specific sums being set aside for educating pupils at the Merchant Maiden Hospital, the Trades Maiden Hospital and Heriot's Hospital, now George Heriot's School. He stipulated that all his beneficiaries were to bear the name Watson or Davidson.
A further £144,000 Pound Scots was left for the foundation of a new charitable school, "hospital" as they were then known, for "entertaining and educating the male children and grandchildren of decayed merchants in Edinburgh". This was to become George Watson's College. The school remains in service to this day, as does George Heriot's, and "Watson's", as it is known, continues to celebrate an annual "Founder’s Day".
Watson is buried in Greyfriars Kirkyard.

It appears that the attack on white men being part of the political system in Scotland is about to increase.
The head of COSLA, who is a woman, says that the image of white men in local politics is a bad thing and needs to change.
White males make up the largest proportion of the population in Scotland, so it is only natural that they should be the most represented in local politics. Women make up 29% of local politicians - a good representation.
We will see lists of candidates being drawn up to be more inclusive, but in reality they will be exclusionary. Excluding white males from the political process to make way for more women, gays, transsexuals, blacks... well, more of everything as long as it's not white and male.
Politics should be staffed by those with the most experience, qualifications and the will to make things better for people, not by people chosen for their gender, sexual orientation or colour.
In the new Scotland being most qualified for the job does not matter, it appears.

On this day in 1542 the Scottish army was defeated by English Forces at the battle of Solway Moss. The battle took place on Solway Moss near the River Esk on the English side of the Anglo-Scottish border
The Scottish King James V had refused to break from the Catholic Church, as urged by his uncle King Henry VIII, who then launched a major raid into south-west Scotland. The Scottish army that marched against them was poorly led and organised, and many Scots were either captured or drowned in the river. News of the defeat is believed to have hastened the early death of James V.

The SNP is yet again about to stab the children of Scotland in the back and let them down. £43 million was assigned to a program called the Attainment Challenge. It was supposed to go to nine councils with highest level of deprivation but now will be split across all 32 Scottish councils.
At a time when education is already struggling due to previous SNP funding cuts, mismanagement of the education sector in general including exams, and problems arising from COVID, it is unbelievable that the SNP would cut more money from our most deprived areas. They constantly talk about closing the attainment gap between rich and poor areas but this latest reallocation of money will obviously help richer areas while depriving poorer areas of much-needed funding.
The children of Scotland are our future and they deserve better. Our country as a whole deserves better than the fake nationalists of the SNP. Scotland needs real nationalists. Scotland needs a Patriotic Alternative.

On this day in 1034, Malcolm II was killed at Glamis. Some accounts say he was assassinated, others say he died fighting bandits. Either way, he died a violent death.
Malcolm ascended to the throne by killing his predecessor Kenneth III (and Kenneth's son Giric) at the Battle of Monzievaird on 25 March 1005. This took place just north of Crieff,. He later had Kenneth's grandson killed.
Upon his death Malcolm was buried in the graveyard at Saint Oran's Chapel on the Isle of Iona.
Malcolm's three daughters had between them produced three notable sons. One daughter married Earl Sigurd of Orkney, and their son Earl Thorfinn went on to bring much of Caithness and Sutherland into Scotland. One married Crínán, the Abbot of Dunkeld, and their son Duncan went on to succeed Malcom II as Duncan I. And the third married Findlàech, the sub-king of Moray, and their son Macbeth went on to kill Duncan (with Thorfinn's help) and become King Macbeth.

Drumchapel in Glasgow is facing a major housing crisis. It has a waiting list of over 2000 people seeking housing in the area, most of whom have no prospect of being housed anytime soon.
Drumchapel is an area with a strong community with many generations of families being born in the area and staying to raise their own families there. This strong community is now in danger of being lost but the SNP seem to not care.
Over the last few decades the council have sold off a lot of land to private developers who build houses the locals could never afford. At the same time the number of social houses being built is at an all-time low.
To add to this the council has, over the years, moved more and more "asylum seekers" into the area, cutting the number of houses available to locals even more.
We need to see a policy from the council of stopping land sales to private developers, an increase in social housing being built, priority for locals to that housing and stopping the dumping of migrants in the area.

The hotels of Scotland are to be used as a dumping ground for asylum seekers.
The Home Office is sending increasing numbers of asylum seekers north of the border. 50 from Eritrea have already arrived at a Falkirk hotel and there are plans to house many more in Perth and Aberdeen.
Scottish politicians only concern appears to be that hotels are "not suitable" and these people should immediately be given houses and flats.
No comment from the politicians about how, with Scotland moving into winter, these hotel rooms might be better used getting some of our own homeless off the streets. I am sure they would be more than happy to be housed in this "unsuitable" accommodation that the politicians and asylum seekers complain about - accommodation that gives them heated comfortable rooms and three meals a day, amongst other benefits.
Where will these people go when they come out of the hotels? Will we see local communities lose more valuable housing to incomers while locals sit for years on waiting lists?
