This is the start of an important run of dates for us Scots, culminating in Burns night. I can't wait for the haggis neeps and tatties!
I get emotional goosebumps from realising that for the first time in my life I actually have a deep connection to these dates.
Before, I experienced more commercialised, synthetic meanings that my intuition knew were hollow, but couldn't quite explain why, or what version my heart was seeking.
Now I know and am experiencing what I was looking for all these years.

This is a person actively engaged in the memory holing of my peoples identity into "NewScots".
All she can say in response to my challenge, bringing up the oppression of native Scots is
"Tell the discrimination police, I swear I don't think just like them, that your people don't exist, also why does the system that doesn't even acknowledge your existence have no reports of abuse towards a non existent people".
