Just in from Ukraine 🇺🇦

From Sam just now: We need urgent prayer!!
They aren’t wanting to let Peter and Danik go through! They are letting us go through the original check and gonna check them through the system. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. So, prayer that they let them in with Sam and Dasha rather than separating them and Sam and Dasha having to go by themselves .

Thanks for keep our dear friends lifted!

Update from Pastor Mike on our missionaries on the ground in Ukraine 🇺🇦

Hey guys!
A short update from the past 24ish hours. Yesterday, I (Sam) decided to head to Poland with 3 other people to help drive humanitarian aid back and forth from Europe. After spending about 12 hours in driving and in lines, two of the guys weren’t allowed to get out of the country because of dual citizenship.

At that point, it was 3am and I was going to be traveling alone with 1 other girl from Hungary to Poland. We decided to head back to the Carpathians for a few days and regroup.

The process of helping refugees is slowly starting to get on the move. Since we ourselves are currently “refugees”, we have to find a place to host people. Right now, even if you’re willing to pay, it’s hard to find anything available. We have started buying groceries and are sending out a load of stuff to Kyiv tonight. We are doing good. Of course, it’s hard being away from home especially not knowing how long this is all gonna last. Please keep praying!❤️

Today we decided to get out and wash the car. The town we are living in is very small and has a few small stores. We were so pleasantly surprised and excited when we saw a chain store “Epicentr”, it’s basically like a Home Depot😅 For a little bit, life felt a little more normal 😏

A lot of us are starting to get to the point of “we just want to be home”. Please pray that can happen soon😏 we obviously are so thankful to be safe and realize it could be much worse but it’s still just hard 🥺

Deuteronomy 29:29

[29] “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
The sound of my quite time This morning in Panama! Be refreshed, read God’s Word and hear the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks as the tide rolls out! It is our last morning as we relish in God’s glory here! It’s been fun, refreshing and of all we have seen, lives that have impacted us and memories that are set in stone! The only thing I can hope is that in the near future, we can again experience Panama, it’s people and the majesty of God’s Glory! My reminder this morning,
Be still and know that I AM God!

Psalm 113:3
[3] From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised!

Those Who Fear God Will Do Well
Those who don’t, well the text speaks clearly about that!

Ecclesiastes 8:10-13
[10] Then I saw the wicked buried. They used to go in and out of the holy place and were praised in the city where they had done such things. This also is vanity. [11] Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. [12] Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him. [13] But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God.
Great reminder for the church today!
“He whose contentment is of grace is not disquieted and keeps his heart quiet with regard to vexation and trouble, and at the same time is not dull or heavy but very active to sanctify God’s name in the affliction he is experiencing.”

When you die, don't worry about your body...
Your relatives and funeral staff will do it. I know this first hand. I’ve done it myself…
They will take you out of the house and deliver you to the funeral home of your family’s choice.
They will take off your clothes
They will wash you
They will dress you up
They will even apply makeup to make you look presentable
Many will come to the funeral to honor you.
Some will even cancel their plans and ask for leave to go to the funeral.
Your things--things you hate to be borrowed will be sold, donated or burned.
Your keys
Your tools
Your books
Your CDs, DVDs, games
Your collections
Your clothes...
And be sure the world won't stop and cry for you.
The economy will continue.
You will be replaced in work. Someone with the same or even better ability will take your place.
Your property will switch to heirs.
And don't doubt the small and big things you have done in your life will be spoken of, judged, doubted and criticized.
People who only knew your face will say, ′′Poor thing!"
Your good friends will cry for a few hours or several days, but then they will laugh again.
Your pets will get used to the new owner.
Your pictures will be hanging on the wall for a while, then they will be put on furniture and finally stored at the bottom of the box.
Someone else will sit on your couch and eat from it.
Deep pain in your home will last a year, two, maybe ten... Then you will join the memories and then your story will end.
It will end among people, end here, end in this world.
But your story begins in a new reality... in your life after death.
The things you once have will lose their meaning. You cannot bring your earthly possessions here.
the beauty of your body
last name
property
loans
working position
bank account
the house
the car
academic titles
Classmates
trophies
Friends of the world
man / woman
the kids
the family...
In your new life, you will only need your soul.
The only property that will last is the soul.
......................................................................................
The big question is: Do you know where your soul is going after this life is over?
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)
The Bible is clear that no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again (John 3:3).
John 3:18 explains in the simplest terms who will go to heaven and who will go to hell: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." So, those who go to hell are specifically those who do not believe in Jesus’ name.
Simply, if you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, by grace alone, through faith alone, you will spend eternity in heaven. If you do not receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will be eternally separated from God (Matthew 25:46).
The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
We can choose to trust in Jesus’ payment for our sin, or we can choose to pay for our sins ourselves—but we must remember that the payment for our sin is eternity in hell.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31)

~ Philip Johnston
Wow, what a powerhouse of a message! Don’t be intimidated by the legalistic persons! Christ plus everything = Nothing, but Christ plus Nothing = Everything! Christ is sufficient! God bless you and you day!

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.”
(Galatians 6:7–10 LSB)

In reading this morning the book of Galatians, I love Paul’s closing reminder to not grow weary in doing good! Isn’t it truly easy to be disappointed, discouraged and even tried?
The world wants to suppress anything that is good, because we live in a day that for which the world calls evil good and good evil! But we who have Christ, those who have true hope of eternal life, we need that encouragement to keep on keeping on, to press ahead toward the prize! Paul wants us to be reminded, don’t stop doing good, don’t loose heart, keep sharing Christ, keep being faithful, for in due time you shall reap what has been sown! So…..
Plow, Prepare, Plant, Pray and wait for God, for the fields are rip for the harvest!
