That's it! I did it.
"Golden Nymph, Fulfill All My Wishes" (Mine meaning)
This painting was the very first in my creative journey. Its previous version was irrevocably destroyed, and I did so intentionally, as it was no longer relevant at the time. But 6 months later, the mermaid has taken on new life, a new meaning, and a new value. Her meaning remains unchangeable; it's exactly how I felt as a child. Confined to one place, with no escape, no sense of security, with a guard who comes and exploits me every day: calculatingly, methodically, for a fee or free, by force, without question. Slowly but surely, he "makes wishes," each time more depraved and ugly.
Why does the Nymph have two legs? She can be used in any way, to satisfy any desire of her owner, who has given himrself such a nickname. He knows for sure she won't go anywhere, at least until she's 16, which is a whole 10 years. Ha-ha.
The key to the lock hangs around his neck, and the shackles prevent her from getting close to the monster's neck; no matter how hard she tried, her attempts were futile.
At the same time, the fish-body – is golden, with an endless supply of desires, and resistance is clearly not part of them. If she tried, she was stopped by a new order for obedience and humility, by force or words, or a stern, bared-eye gaze.
I'm sure many children in families feel exactly this way when faced with violence in their own family. I just hope that you, my viewer, have never experienced such a feeling. But I'm very, very sorry if you had to endure anything like this.
