Last night, when the new stable client was released, the limitations on story options for Telegram normal users were removed.
Now almost everyone can share stories on their profile, in channels, and in group chats.

โข๐ฎ๐ณ India (+91)
โข๐ฎ๐ท Iran (+98) - can share stories.
โ There is still a limit of 1 story every 24 hours.
โ Some options in the story editor are still only available with Telegram Premium.

Here are some tips regarding the new redesign
โ To switch between accounts, tap and hold the ยซProfile Pictureยป in the navigation bar.
โ You can change the navigation bar from ยซSettingsยป to ยซCallsยป.
โข To do this, go to Contacts, click on Recent Calls, and select the option to "Show Call Tab."
โข To switch back, go to Contacts, click on Recent Calls, and click theโ and select "Hide Calls Tab."
โ To add a new account, follow the first tip: tap and hold the ยซProfile Pictureยป.

Russia is restricting access to Telegram in an attempt to force its citizens to switch to a state-controlled app built for surveillance and political censorship.
8 years ago, Iran tried the same strategy โ and failed. It banned Telegram on made-up pretexts, trying to force people onto a state-run alternative.
Despite the ban, most Iranians still use Telegram (bypassing censorship) and prefer it to surveilled apps.
Restricting citizensโ freedom is never the right answer. Telegram stands for freedom of speech and privacy, no matter the pressure.
