Greetings, Friends!

It’s been 100 days since I was imprisoned, and I want to share how I’m doing, what I’m doing here, and why I’m here.

All things considered, I’m doing “fine.” I work in the kitchen in a role similar to a supervisor, managing about 10 inmates. They’re here for all kinds of crimes: murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, robbery, drugs, and so on. And me? I’m here illegally, waiting for the Constitutional Court. But as my lawyer says, “You’ll serve your time before they ever let you out.” We’re fighting and filing complaints because there’s nothing else we can really do.

I’m still sXe, and nothing has changed. I train every day, and my goal was to work out for the first 100 days without a break.

I train using my own bodyweight, doing hundreds of reps a day: pull-ups, push-ups, dips, one-legged squats, squats with another inmate (sometimes two), and even handstand push-ups. I’m breaking my personal records (I can list them next time if you want). I’m doing well and determined to come back as a stronger version of myself. I read every day and have finished over 20 books so far. I don’t watch TV or listen to the radio. I want to spend every moment with myself and for myself to use my time well. Time is the biggest advantage of life in prison. About 90% of inmates here are Gypsies, and on walks or visits, I’m often the only White guy around.

This just shows why combat sports and strength training are useful. They naturally fit our physical nature, and thanks to that, nobody here wants to mess with me.

My family is doing fine, healthy and safe, for which I’m deeply grateful to all of you and to the support coming from all over the world. It’s incredible, and I thank you!

I had to detach myself and accept where I am. Everything happens for a reason, and what stands in the way becomes the way. I’ll come back stronger, both physically and mentally. I have to be an example of perseverance so you can see how challenges are overcome. I can be content with abundance, with little, or with nothing at all.
