Russian President Vladimir Putin informed both US President Donald Trump and Iranian officials that he backs a nuclear agreement that prevents Iran from enriching uranium.

Russia also updated the Israeli government on Putin’s stance regarding Iran’s uranium enrichment.

“We know that this is what Putin told the Iranians,” said a senior Israeli official.

Putin shared this position during phone calls last week with Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron.
