The “Netzarim” Corridor: Netanyahu’s big tactical mistake, or a token announced goal?
The only reason that the genocide is not stopping is that Netanyahu (i.e. the whole Zionist entity, following the orders of the US) does not want a permanent ceasefire, while the resistance, obviously, would never agree for an exchange deal without an end to the genocide
Netanyahu refuses to withdraw his army permanently, and instead wants long-term stationing at the Nezarim Corridor and the Philadelphi Corridor, the former splitting Gaza almost from the middle and the latter cutting it off from Egypt
Netanyahu’s announced goal is to keep the army stationed at the Netzarim Corridor “until Hamas is completely destroyed”, after which whatever’s left of Gaza would be given to the Palestinian Authority or some Arab countries to clean up the “mess”
Well, he sure is a big dreamer. Either he lives in a parallel universe, in which Hamas is losing the war, or he’s lying. There’s not enough army, economy, morale, public support, or international ground to stand on for enough time to ‘finish’ Hamas; especially with the immense, constantly-increasing pressure from the resistance “support fronts” – Lebanon and Yemen
Now, I’m no military expert, but keeping a regular army stationed in the middle of a guerilla war battleground seems extremely idiotic. Almost every day for 9 months, at least one barrage of mortar missiles is fired towards military ‘gatherings’, whether vehicles, soldiers or command headquarters/outposts, by the countless resistance groups. Moreover, as we’ve recently seen, the resources and capabilities to manufacture mortar missiles (among all other weapons) are still perfectly functioning, and will be for a long time, in the Gaza underground
This means that as long as there are regular troops inside Gaza, they will expect mortar missiles (at least) showering their locations every single day. This is even a much worse predicament if the troops are stationed in one place; the Netzarim Corridor, exposed and right in the middle of all districts of Gaza – meaning in range of all resistance factions who are divided by district, or at the very compromised location of the Philadelphi Corridor
The Zionist army will collapse far sooner than the guerilla resistance will; this is the most basic definition of guerilla warfare, a small “guerra” (war) that aims to drain the state of all its resources and can keep up this tactic until the last standing resistor
Something, then, is not adding up. Either the Zio-American leadership is too arrogant to realize that they have no chance (again, given the strong support fronts of the Axis), just as the case in Ukraine, or they have no idea what their next move is, and are lying to pass every day hoping for a miracle
The biggest defeat in Zionist history is impending, but at the very high price of genocide, as Western states watch without taking a single action, even as simple as boycott!
