Arrest of a spy in Tehran

▪️ The suspect was trying to find Starlink to connect abroad

Tehran Police Command Information Center:
🔹 Following intelligence and operational efforts by the capital police intelligence officers, a spy linked to opposition networks was arrested in west Tehran.

🔹 Based on public reports, the capital police intelligence officers received a report about suspicious activity of an individual in a building and immediately started preliminary investigations.

🔹 During detailed investigations, it was revealed that the suspect, under the cover of a trading company, illegally procured and used satellite equipment including Starlink and established communications with abroad through it.

🔹 During a site visit, officers succeeded in discovering a Starlink satellite device and specialized investigations of the suspect were initiated.

🔹 The suspect, while admitting the charges, stated that due to the cut-off of communication with abroad, he illegally procured a Starlink receiver from southern cities of the country through smugglers and was responsible for gathering information and sending urban status and military center information.

🔹 The capital police announces that efforts to identify and arrest other associates in this case continue and requests citizens to provide any related information to the officers.

Investigations by Tasnim reporters in the provinces indicate that the Americans are searching for the pilot of a fighter jet that was attacked by Iranian armed forces this morning, using several Black Hawk helicopters, a Hercules 130 aircraft, and reconnaissance drones.

▪️ Usually, fighter pilots are connected to GPS devices that can report their location in case of ejection. However, the area being searched by the Americans suggests that they do not know the exact location of their pilot and are looking for him by other means.
