Instead of complying, the constable sped away on his motorcycle, prompting the attackers to open fire. Fortunately, despite sustaining injuries, the constable managed to escape.
During the attack, a passerby, Mudassir, son of Mujeeb, from the Betani tribe and a resident of Sagarha, was also shot in the leg. Both injured individuals were promptly taken to DHQ Hospital for medical treatment, and their condition is reported to be stable.

According to the groupβs spokesman, Jeyand Baloch, the convoy consisted of six buses that had arrived in Gwadar from Karachi the previous day and was heading toward Turbat when it was ambushed by the BLAβs βMajid Brigade.β
According to the statement, the attack began with a vehicle-borne explosion, when a militant identified as Altaf (alias Chakar) rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the convoyβs main bus. Following the blast, other militants moved into the area and engaged the forces.
The statement further identified three of the five BLA fighters killed in the attack:
-Altaf, son of Abdul Rahman, from Alandur in Belida, who joined the BLA in 2023.
-Gharam (alias Zagrin), son of Farooq, from Lagarok in Prom, Panjgur, who also joined in 2023.
-Khalil (alias Kalmir), son of Fazal, from Sami in Balochi Bazaar, Turbat, who became part of the BLA in 2023.
