In the aftermath of the blasts, militants launched an ambush on the convoy. A Quick Reaction Force (QRF) swiftly intervened, engaging the attackers in a firefight. At least four militants were killed, their bodies recovered by security forces, while an unknown number of wounded militants fled on motorcycles.
The attack claimed the lives of two FC soldiers and left 25 others injured, 12 of whom remain in critical condition.

According to a statement issued by the group, the killed millitants have been identified as:
Atiq (alias Miran) – Son of Hasil, a resident of Patok in Dasht. He reportedly joined the BLF in 2013 and remained active in several areas of Kech, including Mand, Gwadar, Tump, Buleda, and Turbat. Within the group, he had been elevated to the position of so-called “Captain.”
Shehak Baloch (alias Ashob) – Son of Barkat, a resident of Sarnkan in Turbat. He joined the BLF in 2024 and, according to the group, took part in activities across Mand, Matsung, Gwadar, Tump, Dasht, and Turbat.
