The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released what it describes as its annual report outlining its activities for 2025. According to the group’s own claims, it carried out 581 armed incidents during the year, compared to 284 claimed incidents in the previous year, representing an increase of approximately 105 percent.
The BLF states that its activities during 2025 were conducted across multiple geographic zones of Balochistan. The group claims to have targeted Pakistani security institutions, affiliated entities, and installations associated with state authority and infrastructure.
According to the statement, the claimed attacks included ambushes, hand-grenade attacks, IED explosions, sniper fire, and attacks involving heavy weapons, including rockets and light machine guns. The group also reports the use of grenade launchers and small-arms fire in several incidents.
The BLF further claims that two operations were of particular significance: the so-called “Operation Baam”, described as a province-wide campaign, and an attack in Nokkundi targeting a Frontier Corps facility. According to the group, these actions were intended not only to affect military forces but also to disrupt economic activities linked to the state.
In addition to armed activity, the report references the publication of the group’s propaganda magazines, Asper and Sarmachar.
Note that these figures are based solely on the group’s statement and have not been independently verified.
