Balochistan Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officials confirmed that, in addition to Sajid Ahmad, three other individuals were arrested in recent operations, all linked to the Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC) and militants networks.

One of the arrested individuals is 18-year-old Sarfaraz, a resident of Kharan. According to CTD Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Aitzaz Goraya, Sarfaraz was initially inducted into BYC, participating in protests and roadblocks. He was later assigned to conduct reconnaissance on police operations, including polio campaigns, as part of a wider intelligence-gathering network.

Sarfaraz was reportedly introduced to BYC by Jahanzaib, alias Mehrbaan, aged 20. Jahanzaib had been heavily involved in BYC’s activities, including conducting reconnaissance missions, transporting extortion money, and moving medicines. DIG Goraya stated that Jahanzaib personally organized BYC’s roadblocks in Noshki and Kharan and managed social media propaganda for the group.

Jahanzaib also recruited another 18-year-old, Bezan, who later joined the BLA. Bezan’s induction into BYC preceded his participation in militant operations. Bezan’s brother, Shafqat Yar, was reportedly killed during a firing incident involving the Levies force in Khad Kocha.

DIG Goraya emphasized that these individuals and children had been subverted through BYC, manipulated into performing small but significant tasks for the militant networks. He warned that militants groups systematically exploited youth and children, contradicting their public claims of not involving minors.

The CTD official stressed the importance of informing parents about such indoctrination and noted that affected youngsters would be taken to internment and rehabilitation centers in Quetta and Turbat. There, authorities plan to provide dialogue, psychological counseling, and parental involvement to reform them as responsible citizens.

The IMP mouthpiece, Sada-e-Haq Media, released an 11-page document regarding the recent Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Ummat Pakistan Conference held in Karachi. The conference brought together ulama from various schools of thought, who presented and discussed key points on a range of issues.

In its document, the militant group IMP endorsed several resolutions of the conference, including those concerning: implementation of Shariah, elimination of the usurious banking system, legal marriage age, the Transgender Rights Act, judicial and parliamentary reforms, Pakistan-Afghanistan relations, registration of madrasas, removal of exemptions, and the issue of Palestine.

However, the group rejected the points in which the ulama opposed armed struggle and militant groups operating within Pakistan.

-⚡OBSERVATION: I personally think that IMP Media is operated by their affiliated group HIIP, which is allegedly linked to Al-Qaeda. The language used in IMP’s Sada-e-Haq and the HIIP mouthpiece Inqilab Media is very similar, whereas IMP' HGB and TLIP do not employ such rhetoric in their respective media channels.

Khalid Qureshi, who serves as a deputy in TTP’s Umar Media, recently released a short document that provides an ideological and analytical narrative on the evolution of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) between 2018 and 2025. The document portrays this period as one of organizational recovery, consolidation, and expansion following earlier military setbacks and internal divisions.

It asserts that the current leadership focused on reunifying splinter factions and bringing various militant groups under a centralized command structure. The document also describes an alleged expansion of operational activities beyond traditional tribal areas into other provinces, along with the reported inclusion of members from different ethnic and regional backgrounds.

Another point highlighted is an increase in operational activity and manpower, with figures attributed to both independent analysts and the group’s own media indicating a steady rise in attacks from 2018 onward, peaking in 2024–2025.

The text outlines changes in organizational structure, describing a more centralized and hierarchical system modeled on the Afghan Taliban, with defined zones, provinces, districts, and specialized departments. It also mentions adjustments in operational policies, including targeting and public engagement measures, as well as the role of the group’s media apparatus in shaping narratives.

Overall, the document serves as a self-assessment that frames the 2018–2025 period as one of organizational consolidation, geographic expansion, and increased operational capacity, while largely reflecting the group’s internal perspective.

A bus en route from Panjgur to Larkana, Sindh, was set on fire by assailants at Jhal Magsi. Reports indicate that the assailants stopped the vehicle, forced the passengers to disembark, and then torched the bus. No casualties were reported.

One militant was killed and two others were wounded in Datta Khel, North Waziristan, during a preemptive counteraction by security forces as the militants attempted to assault the security post.

A body of an unidentified individual was recovered in the Toraka Surani area, under the jurisdiction of Baseha Khel Police Station, Bannu. This is the second murder victim recovered in the jurisdiction of Baseha Khel within 24 hours.

Video footage from today’s operation in Abakhil, Tehsil Spinwam, North Waziristan shows a coordinated counterterrorism action by security forces.

Surveillance assets detected approximately 12–13 militants inside their command center (markaz). The operation commenced with a precision aerial engagement involving Sky Bow munitions and a hexacopter, resulting in the neutralization of 2–3 militants and injuries to an estimated 4–5 others.

This was followed by a ground assault by SOG units. The remaining militants were cordoned within the compound, where a subsequent firefight led to the killing of four additional militants. In total, 6-8 militants were neutralized during the operation.

Recovered material from the site included three bandoliers, three hand grenades, one pair of binoculars, one group flag, and one AN/PVS-7D night-vision device. All items were seized by security forces.

A movement of militants affiliated with the TTP Ashiq Group was intercepted in the Kathira forest area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District. Two engagements with the group resulted in the neutralization of atleast three militants.
