According to a voice message from a Taliban source, the drone reportedly crashed on its own while passing over the mountains in Markaz Maidan Shahr of Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan.
Local sources indicate that the drone had been operating over Maidan Wardak and Ghazni provinces for the past 15 days.
