He was appointed Head of so-called Dawat and Guidance for the Bannu chapter for two consecutive terms (2025 and 2026) and was recently assigned the same position for the Dera Ismail Khan chapter as well.

Security forces had placed a bounty of PKR 2.5 million on his head, and he was wanted in 28 high-profile terrorism-related cases.
