IMP militants claimed they had captured donkeys as “war booty,” claiming that the donkeys were government-owned and used by the army throughout the year to build and repair posts in South Waziristan’s Wana Azam Warsak area.
They further claimed that the donkeys would be “happier with us,” claiming to release them into a nearby garden where they would freely eat corn. The militants also issued a warning to other donkeys, urging them not to assist the army in constructing posts or carrying rations.

Gilgit-Baltistan Police have dismantled a militant network involved in the attack on GB Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnah leader Qazi Nisar Ahmed, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Gilgit-Baltistan announced during a press conference.
The IGP stated that two main suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack, which occurred on October 5, 2025, and left six people injured. The mastermind behind the attack has been identified as Naeem Abbas, and several facilitators involved at different stages of the attack have also been taken into custody.
According to police, a total of 11 militants were involved, including nine attackers and two facilitators. One militant was killed on the spot during a security operation following the incident.
IGP confirmed that the arrested suspects are from the Roundu district of Baltistan Division, while a key facilitator is a resident of Jalalabad, Gilgit. Both main suspects have confessed to their involvement during interrogation.
Police have released the names, photographs, and confessional statements of the suspects. All individuals involved have been identified, including those still at large, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining fugitives.
Authorities have not confirmed the group’s affiliation, but opponents claim the attackers are linked to Liwa Zainabiyoun.

This morning, an IED detonated against a security forces MRAP, causing damage to the vehicle and injuries to three personnel. Following the IED blast, militants attempted an attack using a quadcopter; however, security forces neutralized the quadcopter.
Subsequently, intense armed clashes erupted between security forces and militants. During the crossfire, civilian homes were struck, resulting in injuries to half dozen civilians. The damaged MRAP was recovered, and the three injured personnel were evacuated for medical treatment, their condition has been reported as stable.
After sustained engagement, civilians displayed white flags and moved onto the roads, allowing the situation to normalize. While the attack has been claimed by TTP's Jaish-e-Umari faction.
