Last night at 9:30 PM, Lal Salam Girls Primary School in Village Epi, Mir Ali Tehsil, North Waziristan, was destroyed in a deliberate explosive attack by assailants.
This school, the most operational educational facility in Village Epi, serves nearly 300 students, both boys and girls.
This incident marks at least the fifth school targeted and destroyed by assislants in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa within the past month.

According to ISPR press releases, on 15 December 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District, following reports of militant activity.
During the operation, our troops effectively engaged the militants’ positions. After an intense exchange of fire, seven militants were neutralized.
However, during the engagement, the brave son of the soil, Naik Yasir Khan (age 34, resident of District Mardan), displayed exceptional valor and made the ultimate sacrifice, attaining shahadat.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed militants, who had been actively involved in multiple militants activities in the area.
